Tim: Well it appears the Yanks are very stubborn about Melky and value him quite a bit. I have been looking at Toronto 2B Joe Inglett lately though and I believe he might solve our 2B issue.

Case: Really? Who are the Blue Jays interested in of ours?

Tim: AAA reliever Gregorio (83-87 GC E Slider, D Curve, F Fork) strikes an 80% deal.

Case: Wow! That's good! Because he doesn't look very valuable, unless we could improve his control. Who else do they want?

Las Vegas acquires new second baseman!
Today, the Las Vegas Broncos and Toronto Blue Jays have just announced a deal that will send an unnamed pitching prospect to Toronto in exchange for 30-year-old infielder Joe Inglett. The Broncos announced that Inglett will start at second base and will become the second Inglett on the 25-man roster.

Inglett seems to be ecstatic with this deal because he hadn't played in the MLB all season until now.

The Padres have offered 3B Kevin Kouzmanoff to the Broncos for OF prospect Seibel. The Broncos are very happy and believe this to be a big steal. Kouzmanoff will start at third and Baldwin will be optioned to AAA.

The big buzz around the MLB right now is ROTY. Anthony Gallagher had a monster season in his rookie year batting .341 coming 1 shy of the 40 home run mark. Gallagher is almost a shoe-in to win the AL ROTY in 2008.

Pretty much every Bronco fan on Twitter has been tweeting #GallagherROTYSwag, or #Gallagher40BombSwag, sadly he didn't achieve the second one nut he is hoping to achieve the first.
