Hey guys if you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate some advice for what I can do to improve my log. I'm shooting for Log of the Year and I can get crazy competitive.

______________________________________________________________________________GIANTS FINISH OFF SWEEP IN ANOTHER DODGERS SMASHING
San Francisco Giants (3-0): 13__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Los Angeles Dodgers (0-3): 5

The Giants finished off a dominating series sweep against the rival Los Angeles Dodgers in dramatic fashion as Tim Lincecum and the Giants offense helped plop the team in first place with a clean three and zero record. With no shortage of fireworks from Richardson, White, and Kouzmanoff the Giants supplied enough runs for the Washington native to go a good seven innings and get his first W of the season, even while giving up over 10 hits.

"I wasn't on my best game out there tonight," Lincecum said, "but lucky for me I have a group of guys out there that can rake the ball. I'm just glad they're on my side."

In his first three games as a Giant, former Padre Kevin Kouzmanoff has hit a total of five home runs one of the greatest outbursts we've seen so far by a newcomer in San Francisco.

"I'm amazed as much as anybody else," Kouzmanoff said. "I've just been seeing the ball real well lately and there has been no shortage of production."

The Giants will travel to Milwaukee to face-off against the Brewers tomorrow.

Hey guys just an announcement. Instead of recording every single game, I am going to be doing one game per game week. It will allow me to progress the season faster and it won't be as stressful for me.

The Giants picked up right where they had left off after a strong road start where the Giants posted a strong record, going 5 and 1. In a sold-out afternoon game, the Giants did not disappoint, dominating the Padres. Verlander posted another great start, going eight innings and allowing only three runs. Kouzmanoff deliever again, hitting yet another home run, adding to what could be a career year for the young third baseman.

In their first ever home games, rookie Carlos Richardson and Rex White got standing ovations during their first at-bats.

"It's an awesome feeling," Richardson said. "I felt like it was my last at bat with the ovation I got. I couldn't help but step out of the box and smile for a second. We still have a lot of work to be done and I want to give this crowd something to cheer about."

Former Giants Rowand, Winn, and Castillio recieved a warm welcome, but only hit a combined 1 for 9.

"That was awesome," I said to White. We were sitting in our old Berkely apartment, which we moved into when we got called up. Baseball Tonight was on and we were drinking a couple of cokes. "I still can't believe that we got to play for the Giants at Pac Bell."

"You know that it's called AT&T right?"

"Yeah I just like calling it that. Always have, always will."

"Not only that, but we're both having great seasons already. It feels just like college hitting off these pitchers."

"And I already have two homers!"

"I'm gonna have more homers than you at the end of this season though."

"That's true. But I'm going to have the better season."

"Yeah right."

"You wanna bet?"

"Sure, why not. What's the wager?"

"Hmm. Let's count hits, homers, rbi's, runs, and batting average. Whoever leads in the most categories wins. Loser has to announce to the team that 'the winner is a better rookie than me.'"

"You're on man."

"Now it's time for the Gillete Players of the Week. The American League held a pair of outfielders in Marlon Byrd and Melky Cabrera. Byrd batted .500, with four homers and 5 RBIs while Cabrera batted .588 with a single homer and 10 RBI's. The National League feature new Giant Adrian Gonzalez as well as New York Met Ryan Chruch. Church batted .571 with three homers and 11 RBI's. Gonzalez batted .593, also with three homers and 11 RBI's."

Damn, jb, you put a lot of work into this. I hope you keep it up, but that's a lot of detail to put into each update, don't make it too hard on yourself.

After having a hot start to the season the Giants have lost their sixth straight, this time due to a Skip Schumaker walk-off single. The pitching has not been there for the Giants when they have needed it and the offense has not come up with the timely hitting that it has needed. The Giants head into Saturday hoping not to lose all six games in their week.

"It's tough," veteran catcher Bengie Molina said. "Not only losing six straight, but having to lose to my brother. It's that kind of thing that we talk about after games, but I'm going to make his speechless come September and October."

Left fielder Dave Roberts and had to be taken out of the game in the seventh inning after sliding into third base. The injury was minor and X-Rays came back negative. His condition is currently unknown.

Hey guys, before you leave a question: Should I incorporate young players (i.e. the Buster Poseys and Giancarlo Stantons of the world) into my log? I wouldn't mind having to make or find players and I WANT POSEY AND ROMO!

Yeah, that'd be cool to see.

You could edit in both of them, but to get them in Season, I guess they'd have to be made. Posey already has been.

Romo Rob hasn't posted a Romo yet, I don't think. This one was made by Test, ironic, and is probably a little too good.

Posey I gave you a link to the redone because Rob's first version of Posey sort of underrated him.

EDIT: Fixed

I already have a couple of players made and I wouldn't mind making some. If it's not a bother can you guys post some suggestions on who I should import?
