Sorry I'm late, but I'll take Pegasus Butron, and have him practice contact.

Will you be letting us know when they improve? Or will you just update us at the end of the season?

If I notice them improve I can say, but I'll probably only notice if things change by letter grade on a day I'm controlling or a day off. I'll update what all the player abilities are at before the start of every year and if you notice you want to change something you can do it then.

Okay, thanks. I guess have him do contact this year, and if you see it gets to D, can you move him to fielding?

May 1st

Kansas City Royals (15-13) at Nashville Venom (12-16)

The Venom's opening game of May was their closing game for a 4 game series again Kansas City. They lost the first 3 but salvaged their pride in the last, as they dominated the whole game. They won 11-2, capped off by home runs by Victor Trammell (2) and Phil Stults, and the complete game by Hampson, as well as a brilliant diving catch by Milan Ormond, which made up for him being the only Venom player hitless this game.

Win: Hampson
Loss: Nunez
HR: Trammell (3), Trammell (4), Stults (3), J.Buck (2)

Venom Box Score:

Reynolds: 3-5, 2B, 3 R
Butron: 2-5, 3 RBI, 2 R
Roma: 2-4, 2B, 2 RBI, R
Trammell: 4-5, 2 2B, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 2 R, K
Stults: 2-5, 2B, HR, RBI, R
Deardorff: 1-5
Ormond: 0-4
Tortolero: 1-3, R, BB
Rottino: 2-4, 2B, R

Hampson: 9 innings pitched, 8 hits, 2 runs, 2 strikeouts, win

---

Ironic how Trammell was the only one to strikeout, considering how good his game was aside from that.
Stults improved his contact to E after this game.

I like that some of you only took one agent when you could pick two. Now if the team picks up anyone special, you'll still have a spot available to take them as a client. Not that I'm hinting at anything like that here. :P

Milan Ormond's inning ending diving catch.

Dat audio. It's bad, but at the same time, it's hilarious.

I didn't think of that, I just didn't want anyone else... But now I'm glad I did it. :D

'Dem uniforms... hurt my eyes.

Great game by Butron. :D

Well Cooldude, we could switch agents. (you know us with two agents) Not that hard to figure out.

Maybe, if you chose your agents you can't get rid of them until they're off the team.

May 13th:

Nashville Venom (14-24) at Texas Rangers (22-16)

The Venom were near the bottom of the standings before and this game didn't help their cause any. They seemed to have given up early, as they left their struggling starter Ishizuka in until he left with elbow pain, he gave up 8 runs prior to that. The Venom scored their first run on an 8th inning sacrifice fly that finally took out the Rangers' Padilla, who was rolling along all game. The Venom were able to put up a big rally in the 9th to score 4 runs and get the tying run to the plate, but it wouldn't be enough as the Rangers' pitcher managed to deflect a liner up the middle to get the third out of the inning.

Venom: 5
Rangers: 8

Win: Padilla (4-1)
Loss: Ishizuka (1-3)
HR: Kinsler (4), Bradley (6)

Venom Box Score:

Reynolds: 3-5, RBI, K
Butron: 1-4, 3 RBI
Roma: 0-5
Trammell: 1-4
Stults: 2-4, R
Deardorff: 1-4
Ormond: 1-4, R
Tortolero: 2-4, RBI, R, K
Rottino: 3-4, 2 R

Ishizuka: 7 innings pitched, 17 hits, 8 runs, 0 strikeouts, loss
Snead: 1 inning pitched, 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 strikeouts

---

Ishizuka was okay after being treated for his injury and won't be expected to miss any time.

To think, if I could have managed to get Padilla pulled from the game an inning sooner I might have had a chance to comeback...

Roma is happy with his performance. Stanley sucks.

June 1st:

Nashville Venom (21-34) at Boston Red Sox (23-32)

The series between the two worst AL East started tied 1-1 and ended in favor of the Boston Red Sox in a 13 inning game. The Venom couldn't string together enough hits to score many runs, they had 13 hits altogether. Mike Lowell was the star of the game for the Red Sox, hitting 2 home runs and then driving in the game winning sacrifice fly for his 4th RBI in the team's 5-4 win. Clontz blew the save in the 9th by giving up the tying home run to Drew (he must have relaxed a bit too much after getting Lowell out), and got the loss in the 13th when his relief allowed a runner he gave up to score. These teams may have even more struggles in the near future because of the extra pitchers tired out in this somewhat lengthy game.

Venom: 4
Red Sox: 5
Final (13)

Win: Harris (2-2)
Loss: Clontz (1-3)
HR: Lowell (8, 9), J.D.Drew (4)

---

Next event should be the draft.

You know you're using an expansion team when the other team throws mistake pitches down the middle to your 4th and 5th hitters and you can't get a hit with either of them.
