Stranglers Lose Game Two; 4-3

Dennis: Wow, tough loss today.

Jack: Yeah. Blue Grandmother ****** up the first inning. Major leaguers usually don't throw it right down the middle for Carlos Delgado to crush a two run bomb.

Dennis: I bet you couldn't say bad things about all the Stranglers key plaayers.

Jack: I only speak the truth.

Miss Kate: The home run didn't matter. The Stranglers tied it up.

Jack: Yeah, until Blue Grandmother started pitching worse than my grandmother and gave up a run off of a wild pitch, and an RBI base hit.

Harry: And that was your final score, until Johnny Lennon hit a clutch home run.

Jack: And then are friend from across the pond (Reg McLeary) went down looking. And that was your final score folks.

Miss Kate: There's Abuela now! I'll go interview him.

Abuela: Sorry, no habla english.
Miss Kate: Azul, we all know you speak english.

That's when superstar agent/insurance guy Lance Berkman stepped in and tackled Abuela out of the way.

I lol'ed at this and now everyone who is in the room thinks I'm weird.

Stranglers Force Game Seven!

That was a wild one. As promised by Sgt. Pepper, it was a game that will be remembered.


Raul Gaddaba pitched against Pedro Martinez today. The Stranglers jumped all over Martinez in the first. Pablo Sanchez hiit a triple, Ringo then doubled and Pablo could've crawled home. After a Chris Kennedy fly out, Ryan Howard flew one out of the park. It was already 3-0. Mick Jagger singled and Lennon and Richards hit back-to-back doubles. One innng and it was 5-0.


No one scored again until the third inning. The Mets got back. David Wright started it with a double. Beltran and Alou hit two straight homers and it was now 5-3 after three innings. It was going to be a slugfest.


Neither pitcher was horrible. It was just a few mistakes. Raul Gaddaba gave up three more runs and he was done. It was a singles rally by the top of the Mets lineup. First Jose Reyes, then Luis Castillo on an infield single, and finally Carlos Delgado reached base with a single. The bases were loaded and the Mets' big batters still were not gone. David Wright poped up to second, but then Carlos Beltran, who has been killing the Stranglers, hit a bases clearing, three RBI triple. Raul Gaddaba got the last out and after that he was done.


The Stranglers were down 6-5 and Pedro had clearly settled in. Until Chris Kennedy hit a solo shot! Two batters later, Mick Jagger walked. And then John Lennon hit a clutch two run homer making it 8-6!


WildThing came in for the top of the eighth. He immediatley gave the lead back to Carlos Delgado. Delgado crushed a two run bomb. It was tied 8-8. WildThing didn't get his name for nothing. However he got through the rest of the inning unscathed.

The Stranglers got 4 straight two out doubles! Chris Kennedy, Ryan Howard, Jagger, and Lennon. It was 11-8. Lennon came home on a wild pitch.

Brian Wilson finished the game for Scranton.

World Series Preview: Stranglers VS. Yankees

Dennis: Hello sports fans! Here we are in Panpaka to preview game one of the Fall Classic!

Harry: It's going to be Paul McCartney vs. Andy Pettite. Our ace against their ace. How it should be.

Techer: The biggest question will be, can the inexperiened Scranton hitters beat the very experienced Andy Pettite.

Miss Kate: Scranton's lineup is mostly lefties against a southpaw so it will be tough.

Jack: Here's a fun fact, In the regular season Scranton was 80-0 when scoring first. Amazing, but they weren't as good in the Mets series.

Harry: What will the keys to this series be for Scranton? In my mind it is scoring early and often because, as you said Jack, when they get out to a lead first, there is almost no turning back.
Dennis: For me it is pitching. They've been shaky all year, and they can't always rely on the offense to bail them out.

Miss Kate: Defense. The Yanks already have a very powerful offense. We don't need to give them any extra help.

Jack: Have the lead by the seventh innning. DO NOT let Joba Chamberlain and Mo Rivera shut you down!

Techer: My keys are-

Harry: Sorry Ryan, but Mia has a player to interview.

Mia: Mick, you've been catching this motley group of pitchers all year long. What has been thhe best part and what was the worst?

Mick: Well the best part was any time a pitcher didn't shake me off for a whole game. The worst part was seeing pitchers come and go. We made a lot of moves this year.

Mia: So far Sgt. Pepper hasn't really had a set rotation in the postseason. Is this tough for you not to know who's going when.
Mick: Not really. I know all the guys. He's just going with who's hot.

Mia: Understandable. Thank you for your time.

Harry: Thanks, Mia. Now quickly, predictions. I've got Scranton in seven.

Dennis: Scranton in eight... Oh wait no.

Miss Kate: Scranton in six.

Jack: New York in six.

Ryan: My prediction is-

Old Man: OFF MY FIELD! Off!

Ryan: Wait, but-

Old Man: But nothing! Off the field, Now!

Harry: We're in the middle of a broadcast, live, with many viewers.

Old Man: They can go ---- themselves. Haw haw haw.

Cameraman Sam: Get him out.

Dennis: Okay one, cursing is Jack's job, and two, who are you anyway?

Old Man: Who am I? I'm the owner of the Scranton Stranglers! Haw haw haw.

*gasp* They scattered.
