Nope, sorry. I just used regular Home Run Mode.

ALL-STAR GAME

Ensberg Gets Big Triple, AL Wins 13th Straight

St. LOUIS: Morgan Ensberg hit a ringing RBI triple in the top of the ninth to win the game, 7-6. Ensberg would be named the game's MVP. The NL has not won an All-Star game since 1996.

BLOCKBUSTER DEAL: BUCS GET NATHAN

PITTSBURGH--The Pirates have acquired Joe Nathan from the twins for can't-miss prospect Brian Bixler. Nathan's role for the Pirates is unknown, but he may replace JJ Putz as the team's closer.

I can't believe I missed out on all of this!

Again, looking like a great season up ahead.

...after all of this, it better be...

But seriously: it just goes to show that if the Pirates didn't have such a selfish GM, this is very possible. Maybe not in 2 years, but it is possible.

TRADE RUMORS

My salary is a bit too high for my liking. How about a salary-dump trade with the Yankees?

PIRATES GET:

Fel.Hernandez
Ensberg
Chamberlain
20,000 P

YANKEES GET:

J.Santana
Teixeira
B.J.Ryan

Ensberg is a pretty good hitter (he was an All-Star last year). Tex is a big loss, but it's cushioned by the 20,000 P we get. B.J.Ryan and J.Santana are pretty much equals of Fel.Hernandez and Chamberlain, plus Hernandez and Chamberlain are younger. Also, this trade would free up 38,000 points of salary to be used more efficiently. So we basically get 58,000 P and younger but equivalent pitchers for a reduction of 3B quality. I think it's worth it. Go for it?

You can spam more out of the Yanks :P . Seriously, keep Tex. That will be a bigger loss than you'd expect. Try to see how many stars a trade for the pitchers are. Two or more, as Longball would say, "Save and Reload"
