KAUFFMAN STADIUM, KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI - A late offensive explosion propelled the Indians to a second straight win today. First, in the first of course, the Royals got 1 run. The Indians came back in the fourth with a run of their own. Of course then, the Royals got a run of their own in the fifth. This is when the real show started. Sizemore jacked a solo shot in the first to put the Indians back in the game. In the next inning, 3 runs of the Indians were scored, 5-2 Indians now. Next inning, with a man on, Garko smashes a two-run shot to deep left to put the Indians up 7-2. The game's over now, right? Wrong. The Royals tried to make a comeback with a two-run frame directly after Garko's shot, but only two runs scored, of course. The Indians added on an insurance run in the ninth to end the game with a score of 8-4, Indians win it.

Can I be the agent for 2 people?? If so, I'd also like Victor Martinez. Please???

Also, CC was pleased by his performance against the Tigers the second time, but angered by the loss. Also, am I still batting coach???

LP: J. Soria (0-1)
SV: -
HR: DeJesus (5)
PLAYER OF THE GAME: Sabathia

PROGRESSIVE FIELD, CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Tribe wins a tight one today, 3-2. With the declining Royals, who started the season 5-0, their offense has really taken a hit. And Sabathia's pitching has really improved. Well, the first run came in te third: with DeJesus hitting a solo shot. The game remained that way until the fifth, in which the Indians scored 2 runs, and thenin the sixth, the Indians scored another run. After the Royals stumbled with a comeback in the ninth, scoring only one run, this game is in the books.

New York Yankees - 5
Cleveland Indians - 0

WP: Bruney (1-0)
LP: Breslow (1-1)
SV: -
HR: Damon (3)

PROGRESSIVE FIELD, CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Indians were shut out today against the Yankees at home. It was a heartbreaker. Westbrook wasn't ready for his scheduled start, so they had to start the long reliever, Breslow. He did well for a long reliever, I suppose. The Yankees scored one run in the first, two runs in the fifth, and two more in the ninth. The Yankees pitching was too strong for the Indians to do much, with only 4 hits. All in all, it was a sad loss for the first, now second place, Indians.

CLEVELAND INDIANS:
1. Sizemore - 0-3, SO, BB
2. A. Cabrera - 0-4, 2 SO
3. Hafner - 1-4, SO
4. V. Martinez - 1-4, 2 SO
5. J. Peralta - 0-4, 4 SO
6. Garko - 0-3, 3 SO
7. Gutierrez - 0-3, SO
8. Michaels - 1-3
9. Blake - 1-3, SO
I. Breslow (L, 1-1) - 4 1/3 IP, 4 H, SO, 3 BB, 3 ER
II. R. Perez - 3 IP, 3 H, 4 SO
III. Julio - 1 2/3 IP, 2 H, 2 SO, 2 ER

NEW YORK YANKEES:
1. Damon - 1-4, HR, 2 RBI, BB
2. Jeter - 1-4, 2B, 2 RBI, BB
3. B. Abreu - 2-3, BB
4. A. Rodriguez - 1-4, 2B, RBI, 2 SO
5. Giambi - 0-4, 3 SO
6. Cano - 1-4, SO
7. Posada - 1-4, SO
8. H. Matsui - 1-4
9. M. Cabrera - 1-4
Forgot the pitchers...

Do you have to make another post just to say what the next matchup is? Just wondering.
