When you do get the trades turned on, I might suggest trading for Hunter Pence (Astros) instead of Hart. He's younger, cheaper, and better.

Colorado Rockies (11-18) @ San Fransisco Giants (21-8)

4-30-08- The Giants had a somewhat impressive comeback today, even though before that, they had been having a terrible offensive day. There was no action until Todd Helton's bases loaded RBI single in the third, just over the third baseman's head, to put the Giants down 0-1. Lowry got out of it though, but he got a no decision. The Giants got their two runs in the seventh, on RBI singles by Rich Aurilia, and the pitcher Tyler Walker, to make the score 2-1. Wilson got the save in the ninth to seal the Giants' fourth win in a row. At the end of April, the Giants are ahead of the second place Padres by 6.5 games.

Vizquel and Durham, please. I'd like their stats as soon as you can get them.

I will post stats at the beginning of June, and August, and I will post the standings at the All-Star break, and when it gets close to the playoffs.

San Fransisco Giants (23-9) @ Philadelphia Phillies (13-19)

5-4-08- The Giants had a rare offensive production today, as a certain player hit a home run! The Phillies started early, scoring in the first on a bases loaded DP by Ryan Howard to score Rollins, and make it 0-1. The Giants got on the board in the fourth, with an RBI double by Molina, to score Winn, and an RBI single by Vizquel to score Molina. In the sixth, the big moment happened, on a low slider to... Bengie Molina! He crushed the pitch 436 feet to left center field to make the score 3-1. In the ninth, Wilson was brought in to close out the game against the third, fourth, and fifth batters in the lineup, and he succeeded, striking out the last batter of the game. The Giants continue their road trip of the eastern coast, visiting Pittsburgh for their next series.

I'll post a game after guitar lessons from 10:00-11:00. I have to play the game though, so it won't be up until about noon.

San Fransisco Giants (25-10) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (unknown, but it is known they're bad)

5-8-08- The Giants won a stressful, joyous, up-and-down game today. There were only three innings where a run wasn't scored. To start it off, Rowand got a sac fly in the first for the Giants, jumping to an early 1-0 lead. Adam LaRoche quickly answered with a three run jack to make it 3-1, going into the second. In the third, Durham got his 2000th career hit, which started a big inning for the Giants. They scored four runs on RBI singles by Rowand, Molina, Aurilia, and Vizquel, to make it 5-3. The Pirates got one run back in their part of the third, on an RBI single by Nady. In the fourth, the Giants had another four run inning, starting with Durham's third homer of the year. Molina got an RBI double to score Rowand, and Aurilia got another RBI single to make it 9-4. But the action was far from being done. The Pirates pulled a six run sixth to take the lead, started by Paulino's RBI single. Sanchez got an RBI with a groundout, and Bay followed with a two RBI single to make it 9-8. But they weren't done yet, as LaRoche hit his second home run of the day, to make it 10-9 Pirates. Vizquel tied it in the eighth, on an RBI single to center. The Giants took the lead in the ninth, on an RBI double by Winn, and an RBI single by Rowand, making it 12-10. Wilson was called on to get the save, and converted, giving the Giants the win.
