It's a bit late, but welcome to the forums! You're doing a heck of a job with this log, especially for a newer member. Hope you explore the forum more and realize how cool a place this is.

As for being an agent, i'll take Liriano and Cuddyer.

Yeah, way to steal my name. :P

I'll be the agent for Brendan Harris and Jason Kubel.

Haha, sometimes things happen like that :)

Heh, At first, i thought you guys were relatives or close friends. You both like the New York teams, which was one thing that led me to believe so.

My name (I don't know about yours) was actually a reference to "Donny Baseball" Mattingly. Not that I care about him at all, I just like his nickname.

Twins (13-6) vs Indians (10-8)

Bullpen Destroys Twins' Chances In Game Where Every Run Counted

In what went from a pitcher's duel to a slugfest in a matter of minutes, the Indians broke a 4-4 tie in the top of the ninth, and Delmon Young's two run single wasn't enough to save the game for the Twins. After the game, Twins officials seemed nervous, but refused to comment on why. It is unknown if it relates to Guerrier's elbow injury, which most dismissed as "a precaution.". More news as it becomes available.

W: Julio
L: Nathan (2-1)
S: R. Perez (2)
MVP: Michaels
HR: Cuddyer (4), Delluci (4)

MIN

D. Young: 3-5, 2 RBI, 2 R
Cuddyer: 3-4, HR, 3 RBI
Guerrier: 1 IP, 1 R, 2 H, taken out of game (elbow)
Nathan (L): 1/3 IP, 3 R, 3 H

CLE

Westbrook: 7 IP, 4 R, 9 H, 2 Ks
Dellucci: 3-4, HR, 3 RBI, K
V. Martinez: 2-3, 2 2B, RBI, R
Julio (W): 1 IP, 0 R, H

BREAKING: Pirates/Twins Deal Approved

The rumors are true: In what Twins representatives with knowledge of the deal claim "gives us a stronger offensive and defensive team," Nick Punto, Mike Redmond, and Tomas Perez have been traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for Ryan Doumit, Jose Bautista, and Chris Gomez. Both parties will have all of their new players by their next game.

Bautista In, Gomez Out?

OAKLAND-In the aftermath with the trade with the Pirates, Jose Bautista will be in the Twins starting lineup, batting eighth. He will replace Carlos Gomez in centerfield, who will primarily be used as a pinch runner. Adam Everett will drop down to the 9 hole.

Liriano wishes to be moved up to the #2 slot in the rotation.

Done. He deserves it, and my schedule allows for it. (In the game he's 4, but that's because I had to change the numbers so it started the right guy on the right day. Theoretically, he's #2.)

BTW, here's my rotation:

1: Blackburn
2: Liriano
3: Baker
4: Bonser
5: Hernandez (If he is ready to go on Bonser's turn to pitch, he might move up)

A-rod's speed is a "B". Everybody else is the same.

At the end of the month, I'll do a stats/standings update. That'll probably be sometime in the next day or two.
