I'd put Nady at first if you don't want to sacrifice anyone in a trade Then you could put Moss(If you updates rosters) in right There are alot of right fielders on your team, you could put Moss, Kevin Thompson(great something), Steven Peace(Great something), you could put McClouth in right and Duffy in center, or you could trade for someone But if you want, you can change the names of the outfielder greats to Kevin Thompson and Steven Pearce. Pearce is the great that bats righty, and Thompson is the one that bats lefty |

i'd say adrian gonzalez or someone along those lines, someone who doesn't completely suck at fielding. |

Ben Sheets ![]() vs. Zach Duke ![]() This is expected to be a showdown between two great pitchers. The Brewers have Ben Sheets on the mound and he's been hot all year, compared to Zach Duke who struggled last month. However, Pirates management has faith in Duke. PIRATES MOVE JACOBS TO BENCH; NADY TO 1B, AND MCLOUTH TO RF Moments after Jacobs expressed dissatisfaction with the Pirates organization, he was side lined. McClouth got the go ahead to play Right Field which moves Nady to First Base. A trade involving Jacobs has also been put on the backburner for now. Pirates Lineup 1.) Freddy Sanchez - 2B 2.) Chris Duffy - CF 3.) Cody Ross - LF 4.) Xavier Nady - 1B 5.) Nate McLouth - RF 6.) Jose Bautista - 3B 7.) Ronny Paulino - C 8.) Jack Wilson - SS 9.) Pitcher |

And another idea is Bautista to center Or bautista to cf and sanchez to 3b and find someone to play 2B. Wow you have so many options |

ZACH DUKE MAKES HISTORY! THROWS PERFECT GAME! ![]() Zach Duke made history today as he threw a no hitter against the Brewers! He finished with an amazing nine strikeouts, walking no one, and ultimately pissing those Brewer batters off! Players of the Game: Zach Duke ![]() AND NATE MCLOUTH ![]() Why McLouth? In his first staring appearance this season, he belted a long one to give the Pirates the lead! Jacobs Trade on Baltimore's Plate Immediatly after the game, Andrew ReLink discussed the details of a trade that would send Mark Jacobs (Four homeruns, .200 average) to the Orioles for Austin Kerns (12 homeruns, .267 average). According to baseball experts, the trade should be denied unless the Pirates threw a significant amount of money at the Orioles, which they didn't. |

PIRATES' FANS EVERYWHERE REJOICE; JACOBS SHIPPED OFF TO BALTIMORE, AUSTIN KEARNS COMES OVER TO THE BUCS! Andrew ReLink and Grady Little aren't kidding anymore. That has become obvious. They really are going to take this team to the world series, especially after they acquired Austin Kearns from the Orioles in a blockbuster trade. This really bolsters the Pirates outfield, but with McLouth being McLouth, where is Kearns going to go? |

stevenjackson39 wrote: good point. nothin' like a good backup... The trade was an absolute steal for me though. Kearns is the same age as Jacobs and is doing alot better. Only downside is I don't know where to put him, plus he costs more. |

KEARNS DECLARED PIRATES CENTER FIELDER, CHRIS DUFFY TO BENCH, ALTERNATIVELY DUFFY WILL BECOME PIRATES DH Austin Kearns will now be the starting Center Fielder for the Pirates, as they try to sweep the division leading Reds. If they atleast win two games, they'll tie them for first. However, that's not good enough which is why this trade was announced. 1.) Freddy Sanchez - 2B 2.) Cody Ross - LF 3.) Austin Kearns - CF 4.) Xavier Nady - 1B 5.) Nate McLouth - RF 6.) Jose Bautista - 3B 7.) Ronny Paulino - C 8.) Jack Wilson - SS 9.) Pitcher ---------------- ![]() ![]() Ian Snell ![]() Will take the mound for the pirates as Kent Mercker ![]() Will be starting for the Reds. The Pirates are expected to sweep the Reds, as they're looking for revenge after losing against the Cubs. Austin Kearns ![]() Will be the guy to look out for this series, as will Adam Dunn ![]() |
