You saying I called up too many outfielders? I didn't have a choice. I called up everyone I had except my two rookie drafted pitchers. I even called up McDaniel because I needed another first baseman.

You have a choice, don't call them up. You have way to many OF trade some, send some down, you don't have to call-up everyone at once, that's a bad way to do it, their isn't enough games, I call people up, send some down, see how they do and reapeat.

I've already clinched my division, so I'm resting my usual starters and using only my September call-up players.

You still have to many OF, when you simulate they will bring th starter in.

No, I changed the lineup in "Role Settings". This is now my current lineup for the month:

There's nothing wrong with having a lot of OF if you have a 40 man roster.

I mean, AAA is just a holding place, anyway...

Yup.

So, in the 7-9th, they are going to pinch hit all the starters and if you put in a player, they don't get rest.

Okay, I am letting you know right now that I DID skip the final 13 games of the season. I just REALLY wanted to get to the playoffs.

9/28 - Historical Season Comes to an End
A historical season for this Chicago Cubs franchise came to an end today. They finished their 162 game season with their 147th victory finishing at a record breaking season record of 147-15. The previous highest record was set by a previous Chicago Cubs team and the 2001 Seattle Mariners with 116 wins. Well let's all wait and see what's in store for the Cubs in the postseason.

10/4 - Tie-Breaker Decided NLDS Matchup
The Milwaukee Brewers and the Philadelphia Phillies, both with a regular season record of 86-76, have played a one-game playoff to decide who wins the National League wild card. The Milwaukee Brewers topped the Phillies, and the NL playoffs are set. The Cubs will be taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers, while the Wild Card winning Milwaukee Brewers take on the New York Mets, the east division champions. On the American League side, the Cleveland Indians are taking on the New York Yankees while the Boston Red Sox take on the Oakland Athletics.

10/5 - NLDS, Game 1: Third inning Granny Buries Dodgers
The Cubs have taken game one by a score of 7-1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers at Wrigley. Derrek Lee's third inning Grand Slam extending the Cubs lead to 5-0 was all it took to beat the Dodgers in game one. Carlos Zambrano pitched very well going seven innings giving up the Dodgers only run on five hits.

10/6 - NLDS, Game 2: Cubs Need Just one More
The Cubs have won game two of the NLDS by a score of 8-2 against the Dodgers in Chicago. Alfonso Soriano led off the bottom of the first with a homer, and the Cubs kept piling it on with homer after homer. Ted Lilly pitched fairly well going six innings, and giving up both the Dodger runs. Game 3 is set to play on the eighth at Wrigley.

10/8 - NLDS, Game 3: The Squeaky Sound of Clean Sweep Music to Cubs' Ears
The Cubs have swept the Dodgers three straight game in the NLDS and are on their way to the NLCS. By a score of 5-1, the Cubs send the Dodgers packing and on their way home. Tim Lincecum started for the Cubs pitching seven innings giving up the Only Dodger run. Here are the Cubs GM's words on the series:

"It was a great series you know? We had all the right players playing extraordinarily well and we hope to continue on through the playoffs this way."

GO CUBS GO! GO CUBS GO! HEY CHICAGO, WHADIA SAY, THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN TODAY!

Well, to make a long story short, the Cubs are obviously going to win the World Series.


I guess people were right on the other forum where this originated, it is rigged usually.


I'm not saying that this isn't fun and I enjoy it, it's always nice to see people winning.

Mine I'm probably going to win. I heard you unlock stuff if you play all the games and win the world series. Year 1:Definite win. Years 2-10: Unknown.
