I think you should give Dickey a couple save opportunities. Putz has had some issues lately.

Seattle Mariners @ Oakland Athletics
September 19th, 2008.

Mariners win with ninth inning offensive outburst

Mariners: 6
Athletics: 0

Win: F. Hernandez (9-9) (CG)
Save: X
Loss: Morris (5-14)
HR: Ibanez (26)

Oakland -- It was a pitchers duel, with two #2 starters taking the mound. On the Athletics side, free agent signee, Matt Morris, for the Seattle Mariners, "The King." Both offences had been quiet until the top of the seventh, when Ichiro Suzuki hit a lead off double, then scored on a Jose Lopez single, otherwise Matt Morris was solid until the top of the ninth, when Matt Morris allowed two consecutive singles for Raul Ibanez, who then proceeded to smoke one into the stands for a three run homerun, 4-0 Mariners, Seattle tacked on two more runs but that was more than enough for Felix Hernandez, otherwise dubbed as "The King." Who although gave up ten hits, scattered all of those and got the complete game shutout as the Seattle Mariners beat their division rivals, the Oakland Athletics.

Felix Hernandez (9 IP, 10 H, 0 ER, 1 K)
Raul Ibanez (2-4, 1 2B, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 1 R)

Matt Morris (8 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 1 K)
Frank Thomas (2-4, 1 DP)

Zero: I think that he will get the opportunity now that you mention it, I'll see how he does for the rest of the season in that role, his knuckler is currently a 3.5. As in it's halfway done until it's a 4.

The King throws a complete game shutout and only gets one strikeout?

Classic Power Pros.

Hah, when ever I threw that curveball down and away, it's either a ball, or a hit. I only struckout Frank Thomas.

Homer's proud of his production this year. He feels that, with some practice/development, he can grow into a top pitcher.
