Jay Bruce isn't to happy about how the team is doing. He thinks the trade will help though.

Aroldis Chapman literally paints the town red all night. That is the reason he let up four runs.

REDS (49-58) at ASTROS (58-46)
This was one of the longest games the Reds have played all year. The Reds have been on a tear since the Mets game, winning 6 in a row, but are still in 5th behind the Cards. They battled the 2nd place Astros, who are 1.5 games behind the Brewers. The Astros showed up ready to roll off a struggling Homer Bailey, who gave up 3 runs in the first. Bruce was able to hit a solo shot in the third, but the Astros pounded out another Ribbie. Starter Bailey lasted 4 innings, giving up 4, while Astros starter F.Paulino went 5 1/3 giving up 3. The Reds slowly and steadily knocked in three more runs to tie it at the end of the 9th. Janish and Hernandez knocked in runs in the 12th, but a Berkman 2 run shot tied it again. Nobody scored until the 15th, when Phillips hit a 2 run dinger. Francisco Cordero loaded the bases and gave up 3 runs, and the Reds lost.

I'm sure reds will tell them about how they're doing so bad, they should immediately accept a salary drop to the MLB minimum, in order to keep their jobs.
