I might be wrong but it said dishnetkid was going to pitch the next game in the first sentence of the post, but Bannister pitched

And then I saw that dishnetkid was gray-faced and couldn't start that game. Which is why I may expand to a 6-man rotation, with Bannister as the 6th man, and put the starting pitchers in Fitness practice, with the Hot Dog boost.

Robert was just about ready to go watch that night's game against the Yankees, when he got a call on his cellphone. After annoying all the fans around him with the super-annoying ringtone, he heard Steven on the other end.

"Hey, Robert, what's up?" Steven asked.

"Not much," Robert replied, "why are you using up my long-distance minutes? You know I don't get THAT much of a salary to pay that bill I get every month..."

"Yeah, you're right," Steven replied, "but we got a liiiittle bit of a crisis involving the TV station."

Robert was shocked. He just created the network to broadcast the Mendenhals games, and now there was a crisis? "Why? What happened?" Robert asked.

"Uh...it's a long story," Steven replied, "short version, um...someone stole our video cameras from the studios."

"...What?"

"Yeah, someone stole the video cameras."

"Then go and purchase new ones!"

"Have you seen how much they cost lately? We're a new team, we can't afford any more!"

"And yet we can afford to run a casino in our home stadium?"

"What? It helps a bit with the costs of running the stadium."

At this, Robert facepalmed and said, "Ugh...do you have any security footage of who it may be?"

"Not at the moment," Steven replied, "but we're working with Vancouver police to acquire that footage. But for now, we can't broadcast any games."

"Well, this is just great," Robert sarcastically replied, "when you get the footage, let me know, OK?"

"Sure thing," Steven replied, "I'll get you the footage, at the earliest, by next week."

"Alrighty then, bye."

Robert obviously was disappointed, but realized that he could see the field much better from his seat...or so he thought. He was wandering so much during the call, that somehow he ended up on top of the Mendenhals dugout, and was getting weird looks from the Yankees fans in attendance. They'd heard the entire conversation. He jumped off the roof of the dugout before anyone had a chance to call security.

"Well, ain't this my lucky day," Robert grumbled to himself as he headed to his actual seat.

It's all right, but I do prefer the full box score so we can all see our players' stats.
