Alright... new poll is up. Should I restart the log or just leave this project behind, maybe start another one with a different team? :(

otice how I P.S. Damn, I REALLY wanted to finish at least one season!

P.P.S. Notice how my last game was on 9/11? I blame Al-Qaeda for corrupting my file!

ouch, I hate it when that happens!

But I'd start a new log, I liked the way you did yours. You can choose the team and maybe this time show the winning pitcher, losing pitchers, homeruns and etc in the game

It happens to the best of us.

Don't go through all of the trouble of making this one again, just pick a new team. You're gonna get bored if you pick the cubbies again, trust me.

OK, I was making a player in success mode when my success file got corrupted... again! I was checking to see what things are unaffected, when I saw that my Cubs Season Mode was UN-corrupted! I tested it and it's working fine. I don't know what the heck is going on, but I'll take it. And I posted my passwords photographically this time, so they should work to bring the created players back. I'm gonna take a little break from PP, but then I'll have more updates for this. Yay! Happy ending!

Now that's a plot twist!

EDIT: I picked Magical Pancakes. No specific reason, just thought it was a good idea.

I'll tell you what is really going on. Your main data file was corrupted through success mode, which affects almost everything, success, arrange, shop, edited rosters etc. But, it does not affect files in season or MLB life mode, meaning that your file is safe. I'm glad it is, I really like this log  .

But my season mode file itself got corrupted, and when my main file was corrupted, the season mode file went back to normal.

Dang, I don't know what happened then. Maybe somebody is watching out for you...

That happens to me sometimes. It'll get corrupted, maybe if I play for an extended period of time, but when I go to another mode, those are fine. And when I restart the console, everything is uncorrupted.

Usually when my Season file gets corrupted, I just reset the Wii and it goes back to normal. Same with Success mode. I've never had my entire file get deleted.

The curse is upon you again!

You're all wrong. It had to have been Magical Pancakes. There is no other logical explanation.

But seriously, this reminds me of a story my church's preist told me. He said the key to religion is to "Take the money and run!" It doesn't matter how it happened, just be thankful that it did.

Magical Pancakes > Terrorists
And Extra Inning Drama

Last night, an Al-Qaeda attack aimed at Wrigley Field was nearly successful. However, the day was saved by magical pancakes. Thanks to this, Cubs fans enjoyed the newest gimmick at Wrigley Field: pancakes are now for sale! And to celebrate their first day of sales, the pancakes are all-you-can-eat today only! Woo! What could be better? How about an actual ballgame? Sean Marshall went 5 innings and Craig Belisle went 6, both giving up 2 runs. From then into the 8th it was a staring contest as both teams failed to produce any offense. Then, with 1 out and Alfonso Soriano on 3rd, Geovany Soto hit a shallow fly to center field that was caught by Ryan Freel. On a daring move, Soriano was sent home on the play and BARELY beat the tag to give the Cubs the lead. Then Michael Wuertz got in trouble by giving up a leadoff double and... BLEW THE SAVE! bugger! The game went THIRTEEN INNINGS until Soriano FINALLY hit a walk-off solo shot. Oh, thank God!

Magic Pancakes-I mean Number: 2
The season is nearly over, yet the only team to clinch their division is the Los Angeles Angels. Carlos Zambrano pitched 5 innings of 1-run ball to keep the Cubs in the game. The Astros' Wright went 4.2 innings with 1 run until none other than Zambrano himself blasted a 2-run homer to make it 3-1 Cubs. Unfortunately, the only thing the Cubs' bullpen is consistent in is being inconsistent. Marmol let the game get tied and Pignatiello gave Houston the lead. Poor Zambrano can't get the win. Luckily, Aramis Ramirez was there to mash a 2-run dinger of his own to left-center and take back the lead. Another homer from Soto for good measure and a quick save from Wuertz wrapped things up. By the end of tomorrow, the Cubs could be NL Central Division Champions.
