well for one Everth might have to have his power changed if it's too high. He does not belong in the cleanup spot, more like a leadoff guy.

yeah, I don't know what the problem is there. Unless you accidentally put him there when you made the arrange teams I don't know how it happened besides dumb manager AI.

Yea i'm leaning towards just starting the season over, it will give me a chance to correct a few times i'm not 100% happy with, I've already put in 2-3 weeks of work in editing the rosters so I hate to start it without everything being perfect.

The Houston Astros have now dropped 3 straight after winning the first 2 games of the season, but on the bright side starting pitcher Nate Eovaldi looked sharp in his Astros debut, pitching a solid 7 innings while throwing 71 pitches(35 FB, 17 SLD, 14 CB, 5 CHG) allowing just 6 hits and striking out 4. The bullpen continues to struggle to get outs, this time with Blackley allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run in just one inning of work.

The Houston Astros may have reached an all time low after this series against the Cubs as they were shut out in 3 straight games, Tensions were high in the locker room afterwards when Jose Cisnero who got the spot start today punched one of the bat boys after he overheard him say "boy the starter today sure did a good job of stinking up the place." Rookie manager Bo Porter got so desperate today he actually sent in center fielder Rick Ankiel to pitch, when questioned about the odd decision Porter said "I know he used to be a pitcher in AAA, and I know he can throw the ball hard, so I sent him to the mound and besides that one pitch that left the yard, he did an okay job" he also later said that he wouldn't rule out letting Ankiel pitch again if the bullpen keeps struggling. The Astros now head to Minute Maid Park to play their home opener to face the St.Louis Cardinals.

The Houston Astros have promoted rookie starting pitcher Jarred Cosart(TOP SPD: 95, C/B, SLD: 2, CB: 1, CHG: 3) to take over the swing man role, and have optioned Jose Cisnero(1-1, 7.20 ERA) down to AAA Oklahoma City. Cosart will probably start off in the bullpen with a chance to work his way into the starting rotation if he impresses the right people.

GAME NOTES
The Houston Astros finally got a win today to put an end to a 7 game losing streak, thanks to Rick Ankiel who hit 2 home runs and had 4 RBI's, this was also the first home win of the season for the Astros. Jordan Lyles got the start today and pitched a solid 6 innings and picked up his first win of the season, Jose Veras who has struggled to start the season got the call to come in for the save and did a great job, not allowing a hit and striking out one batter. This is a huge win for the Astros has they have a day off before The Florida Marlins come into town.

2.Reds (6-3)
3.Cardinals(5-4)

SCOUTING REPORT
The Florida Marlins are one of the few teams in rebuilding mode just like the Astros, they do have a few good players to watch out for, including Gian Carlo Stanton who is one of the strongest guys in the MLB and can go yard in any situation, The Astros are also going to have to watch out for Steve Cishek, a nasty side arm pitcher who has a fastball that really jumps at hitters and a top notch slider to go along with it.

Astros Starting Line Up
1.Chone Figgins .200
2.Jose Altuve .289
3.Jonathon Villar .316
4.Matt Dominguez .211

GAME 1 STARTER
Nate Eovaldi: 0.00 ERA(TOP SPD: 97, SLD: 2, CB: 3, CHG: 2)

GAME NOTES
Nate Eovaldi is going to get the chance to pitch against his old team in game 1 of this series, it should be fun to see how he does against the pressure of facing the team that let him go.

GAME 2 RECAP
It was another pitching duel again today as Bud Norris pitched a great 8 innings allowing just 2 hits, but wasn't able to get the win after Jose Veras blew yet another save, but that blown save was all but forgotten after Chris Carter hit a walk off HR to center field off of Marlins reliever Chad Qualls. Chris Carter also hit a home run in the 2nd inning to give the Astros the lead to begin with, Carter has been on fire ever since he got put into the starting line up over J.D. Martinez, hitting 3 Homers in 2 games and making a serious bid to win NL player of the week.

I'd give him C power and 3 TRJ, but looks pretty realistic either way.
