Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

Reynolds and Tremie. Reynolds wants trajectory until it's a 2 and then he would like to practice batting. Tremie would like to work on his Knuckleball.

Stanley will work on stamina while Roma works on trajectory.

Opening Day 2008:

Toronto Blue Jays (0-0) at Nashville Venom (0-0)

The Blue Jays dominated the Venom in the first game of the Venom's Franchise history. It was not one to be proud of for the Venom, many of the runs they gave up were from horribly misplaying routine outs. The team is full of rookies and it showed, many rookie mistakes cost the team several runs today as they took the loss. Halladay was the player of the game as he took a complete game win.

Blue Jays: 9
Venom: 3

Win: Halladay (1-0)
Loss: Stanley (0-1)

Venom Box Score:

Reynolds: 2-5, RBI
Butron: 1-5, K
Roma: 1-4, 2B
Trammell: 0-2
Brewer: 1-2
Stults: 2-4, R
Deardorff: 0-4, K
Ormond: 2-4, 2 R
Tortolero: 2-4, RBI
Rottino: 2-4, RBI

Stanley: 3 innings pitched, 10 hits, 6 runs, 3 strikeouts, loss
Asencio: 4 innings pitched, 4 hits, 0 runs, 2 strikeouts
McNichol: 2 innings pitched, 6 hits, 3 runs, 4 strikeouts

Roma wonders why Reynolds is ecstatic about getting two hits and an RBI in a 9-3 loss...

Nashville Venom (6-6) at New York Yankees (7-5)

After an opening day loss, they pulled it together and got to a .500 record, pretty good for a team out of nowhere. They would improve that record today after a very close win against the Yankees. They were able to rally some runs together off of the Yankees poorly motivated starter, scoring 6 runs on Chien-Ming Wang. Clontz came in to close out the game with a 2 runs lead, but he gave up a solo home run and it ended at 1 run. The Venom fielding looked generally better this game compared to the opening game, with the exception of an error in the first inning by CF Ormond, it put the team in a jam but allowed no runs.

Venom: 6
Yankees: 5

Win: Stanley (1-2)
Save: Clontz (2)
Loss: Wang (1-2)
HR: A.Rodriguez (2), M.Cabrera (1)

Venom Box Score:

Reynolds: 3-5, R
Butron: 1-4, RBI, R
Roma: 0-4, RBI
Trammell: 2-4, 2 2B, 2 RBI, R
Stults: 1-4, RBI, R
Deardorff: 1-4
Ormond: 2-4, RBI
Tortorelo: 0-4
Rottino: 3-4, 2 R, K

Stanley: 5 innings pitched, 10 hits, 3 runs, 0 strikeouts, win
McNichol: 2 innings pitched, 2 hits, 1 run, 1 strikeout, hold
Tremie: 1 inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 strikeout, hold
Clontz: 1 inning pitched, 2 hits, 1 run, 1 strikeout, save

End of April:

AL East:
1. Blue Jays, 17-11
1. Orioles, 17-11
3. Yankees, 16-12, 1 game behind
4. Rays, 15-13, 2 games behind
5. Venom, 12-16, 5 games behind
6. Red Sox, 9-19, 8 games behind

After a somewhat promising start the Venom have begun to fall somewhat, falling to a record below .500 and second last in their division, tied for 26th place in the MLB. The Venom will need to improve that immediately if they hope to be close enough to make a run for the playoffs in several months.

The Wings are currently 14-14, and 3 game behind in their division.

Player Stats:

Stanley: 5.33 ERA, 2-2 record, 18 strikeouts

Sorry I'm late, but I'll take Pegasus Butron, and have him practice contact.

Will you be letting us know when they improve? Or will you just update us at the end of the season?

If I notice them improve I can say, but I'll probably only notice if things change by letter grade on a day I'm controlling or a day off. I'll update what all the player abilities are at before the start of every year and if you notice you want to change something you can do it then.
