Atlanta Braves (0-1) @ Washington Nationals (1-0)

March 30, 2008:The Washington Nationals Started out the 2008 campaign on a good note, beating the Atlanta Braves in the first game of their season. Things looked very promising in the first inning, as the Nationals loaded the bases with one out, but were not able to cash in and score. In the 3rd, Chris Smoove led off with a single, then stole second base, his first out of two today. Nick Johnson lined out, but then Ryan Zimmerman hit a 2 run homer to right field, barely clearing the fence, and making it 2-0. Both pitchers threw the ball well the rest of their time on the mound, allowing no more runs. Chuck Norris pitched especially well for the Nationals, striking out 6 and only allowing 5 hits, and not putting a runner in scoring position once. We will have to see if the rest of the Nationals' weak rotation can pitch well enough to get some wins. But, back to the game. The bullpens were a different story. The Nats scored 1 run in the 7th, off of a Braves reliever, and made it 3-0. Chad Cordero came in for the save, but gave up a single to Chipper Jones, then a 2 run homer to Jeff Francoeur to make it 3-2. He was able to notch a save after that though, and the Nationals won!

How do the updates look? Do you think that will work?

Also, I accidentally cut Guzman out of the picture. I think he was 2-4, with a run. It was supposed to show him at the top, but not Cordero at the bottom.

I plan on playing "Key Games", not one per series like the usual. I will decide what games are important, such as when we are playing a good team, or a division rival, or a fun game like against a poor team. There will probably be 3 or 4 games played each month, then a review after each month.

Washington Nationals (5-2) @ St.Louis Cardinals (3-3)

April 6, 2008: The Nationals we're brought back down to Earth by Cardinals, getting blown up for 7 runs in one inning. Our Nationals started out with a lead, as Zimmerman got an RBI single in the 3rd, and made it 1-0. Unfortunately, the 3rd was a very big inning for the Cardinals, as the scored 7 runs. Schumaker got an RBI single, Duncan got a 2 RBI single, Glaus got a 2 RBI triple, and Ankiel capped off the rally with a 2 run homer. Starter Odalis Perez was pulled from the game then, and Saul Rivera got out of the inning. Smoove stepped up in the 5th, and got an RBI double to make it 7-2. In the 6th, Rivera was pulled from the game, due to elbow pains. We do not know how serious this injury is. The Nationals would get one more run in the 8th, when relief pitcher Ryan Wagner got an RBI single up the middle to make it 7-3. That's all the offense could muster, and the Nationals would take a loss.

Alright guys. Some updates.

I'm stopping the pictures, as they look ugly, and am just going to do a couple notable players' stats. Also, I'm cutting clients back to only 1, as our team lacks talent, and I wan't people to be able to have one good client. Unless you 4 are the only ones who sign up to be agents, then I will let you pick one more.

I don't think they look very ugly. I'll take Austin Kearns.

Gotcha, Gibson. I just think that the pictures look out of place, and don't blend well. Plus, its easier to do just notables, instead of uploading pictures. But, pictures were easier than doing the entire lineup.

Mr. Smoove says you have to agree he has made it splash so far this season.

He guarantees he will be in the running for NL Rookie of the Year if you give him consistent at-bats.

Chuck Norris begs to differ, and we all know that it's impossible to argue with Chuck Norris and still live

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P
