"Cubs Late Comeback Attempt Falls Short."
Chase Utley gave the Phillies an early 1-0 lead with a double in the 3rd
Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino would add two more in the 7th with back to back RBI singles.
Pedro Feliz would add 1 more in the 8th on a RBI double 4-0 Phillies.
But the Cubs didn't quit in the 9th Kosuke Fukudome hit a 2-run HR to make it 2-4,sadly that was as close as it got.

The Cubs and Pirates hooked up on a intra-division trade.
The Cubs Acquired Ryan Doumit and Nyjer Morgan,The Pirates Received Great Duncan.

Ryan Doumit will replace Geovany Soto on the MLB roster.
Nyjer Morgan will backup Justin Ruggiano in AAA,Ruggiano was the first acquisition Mark Francis made as GM.

I don't know WHY I feel the need to nitpick this, but it's intra-division (within division). Inter-division means "between divisions."

But anyway, that's a pretty good trade. The Cubs don't really have a viable catcher unless you edit Geo to have his ROTY stats in 2008.

Yeah i was debating which one it was and chose inter.
But,thanks.Soto just isn't very good in this game.

The Cubs and the Reds Played And amazing game,it lasted 11 Innings,with both pitchers going the distance with complete games.
Jason Marquis scattered 4 hits over the 11 Innings,while Great Paulino gave up 5 hits over 11 innings.
Mark DeRosa would end it,however in the 11th with a lead off,walk-off homerun.

From what I've seen a dominating pitcher,fools hitters with breaking balls and overpowers some with his fastball.
His best pitch seems to be his slider,a plus-plus pitch.
The downside is I've heard he's a little crazy,he dyed his hair blue in Highschool to stand out more.
One of his teammates said,"he challenged me to underwater golf,I,I-I don't understand.."the guy said.
His talent outweighs this and he doesn't have any legal problems.
