PROGRESSIVE FIELD, CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Indians won today with a stunning offensive performance against the winless expansion team the Cincinatti Flames. The Flames struck first wth two runs in the 1st, but then hell broke loose for the Indians. After 2 runs came round in the third and a bases-loaded situation in the fourth, back to back home runs by Sizemore and Asdrubal Cabrera propelled a 6-run fifth for the Indians. After this, in the next frame, the Flames came back with two runs of their own but it was not enough to get them the win.

They struck first in the second with one run and the game remained that way until the fifth, in which a Detroit run scored. After this, the game remained tied until twelve. Jones of the Tigers came up with one runner on and blasted a two-run walk-off homerun.
