San Diego Padres (6-2) @ San Fransisco Giants (4-3)

San Fransisco- The Giants won their home opener today, despite being dominated by Jim Edmonds in a very eventful game. He hit his first homer of the season in the second, on a 2 run shot to left to put the Giants down early, 0-2. Then, in the fourth, Bengie Molina hit his first homer of the season, a two run homer to left, to tie the game at 2 a piece. Then Matt Cain, the pitcher, helped his own cause with an RBI single to give the Giants the 3-2 lead. Jim Edmonds struck again in the sixth with his second homer of the day, and season, to tie the game again, this time at 3. The next inning, the Giants took a one run lead, again, 4-3 on an Aaron Rowand RBI double to score the leadoff batter, Dave Roberts. The next batter, Molina, helped the team again, following suit of Rowand and hitting an RBI double to center to score Rowand, and score the last run off the game, making the final 5-3, Giants. On another note, the Giants' #3 batter, Randy Winn, is struggling mightily, and is pretty much a sure out. He is batting .167, with only 4 hits, and 0 homers. He would be a great help to the team if he started producing.

dish, do you want another player?? Roberts is highly recommended by me, he's my leadoff hitter, and gets at least two hits every game.

Sorry I was gone yesterday. I went to America's largest water park! It's called Noah's Ark. It was fun, even though that was my fifth time going there.

I got these shoes, except the white is blaze orange, and the black part is white. I also got a soccer ball! I'm trying to build a goal now.

St.Louis Cardinals (7-6) @ San Fransisco Giants (10-3)

San Fransisco 4/13/08- The Giants extended their eight game winning streak to nine today, by completing the sweep of the Cardinals. After a Roberts ground out, Durham doubled to right center, and Winn singled (surprise!) to bring in the first run of the game and give the Giants a 1-0 lead, heading into the second. That was the only run Tim Lincecum needed to get the win, but the offense didn't seem to notice. In the second, Lincecum singled up the middle to make it 2-0. Then the lead off batter, Dave Roberts, singled to bring in another run and make it 3-0. In the fifth, the Cardinals were threatening to score with runners on first and third, and two outs, but Lincecum gets the leadoff hitter, Adam Kennedy, to ground out and end the inning. In the sixth, the Giants started their engines again, scoring on an RBI single by Aurilia, who hit home Molina, after Molina's double. The next batter, Omar Vizquel, singled to put runners on first and second, but two outs. After two straight wild pitches, Aurilia scored the last run of the game to give the Giants their ninth win in a row. Their next series is against Arizona.

Arizona Diamondbacks (9-6) @ San Fransisco Giants (11-5)

San Fransisco, 4-16-08- The Giants lost a heart-breaker today to the D-Backs. Eric Byrnes must have liked what he saw when he watched Edmonds play the Giants, because he did essentially the same thing. The Giants got off to a 2-0 lead in the third, as Zito and Winn both double to bring in Vizquel and Roberts. Byrnes went solo in the fourth to slim it down to a one run lead. The Giants thought they would be O.K. after that, but were proved wrong by none other than Eric Byrnes. He tripled to right center to tie the game at 2. Hudson and Drew both had RBI singles, and those were the torpedoes that sunk the Giants' ship.

San Fransisco Giants (14-5) @ St.Louis Cardinals (10-9)

St.Louis, 4-20-08- The Giants capped off a sweep of the Cardinals today, a team they already swept once. The Giants started the game with three straight hits. On the third, Randy Winn drove in Roberts to get a 1-0 lead for the Giants. The next batter, Rowand, got an RBI on a ground out to short that looked like it would be a hit, but the SS gobbled it up and threw to first. In the second, Rick Ankiel homered after a Chris Duncan single to tie the game at 2 runs each. After that, Noah Lowry was lights out, only giving up one hit the rest of the day. In the sixth, the Giants packed on three more on an RBI double by Molina, and a 2 RBI single by Castillo to make it 5-2. In the eighth, Castillo had did the same thing, except this time with the bases loaded, driving in two on a single, scoring the last runs of the game. The Giants now have two two game road series, one at Arizona, and the other in San Diego.

San Fransisco Giants (16-7) @ San Diego Padres (12-11)

4-24-08- The Giants lost today, in a disappointing offensive performance. The action started early, but soon died down. Gonzalez went deep for the Padres in the first, jumping out to a 1-0 lead. The Giants answered right away, on an RBI single by Aurilia, to score Rowand and tie the game 1-1. In the eighth, Gonzalez brought in the winning run on an RBI groundout. Aurilia tried throwing home after he caught the ball, but was BARELY too late. It was a controversial call.( ) Anyway, the Giants lost and are now on their way to face the Reds at home.

Cincinnati Reds (15-11) @ San Fransisco Giants (18-8)

4-27-08- The Giants took the series from the Reds with today's win. Roberts showed his amazing speed by scoring from first... on a single by Ray Durham!! Roberts struck again in the second with an RBI single to make it 2-0. In the fourth, the Reds scored on a DP that Phillips grounded into. Rowand got that run back the next inning, with an RBI single to left. The pinch runner, Patterson, scored on a FC in the seventh. But Rowand got back that run also, on another RBI single to cap off the game.

Yes, plenty of people read, but don't post, like me. If you don't get a whole lot of posts, don't be discouraged, the view count is more important than the post count.

Yup, I read it and enjoy it too. Like longball said, many people just don't post a whole lot in season logs, I will occasionally, but I like to read them more than post in them.

I am kicking myself (really hard too) for shutting off trades. I got annoyed at how the teams got all screwed up so I shut them off, but now I like trades better. ALL I WANT IS CORY HART INSTEAD OF RANDY WINN!!! He is terrible! .213, 3 HR, 9 RBI, all of his homers are simulated. I need you Cory Hart!!!!!!!!

That sucks, but I believe you can turn them on during the offseason. I'm not 100% sure on that, but I think I did that one time. Why'd you have them off in the first place?
