same, there's just so much time when school ends to do this, I probably will do more of this in the summer and not much in the next 2 or 3 weeks, I mean the last update before today was 2 weeks. And it does feel good to get back to power pros after a lay-off. It just gets me exciting thinking that Power Pros 2010 may come out this year(no word yet), if it comes out I hope it comes out in the summer though.

Home Opener a Disappointment As Bonderman Dominates Flailing Red Sox Bats

April 8 -- The Red Sox showed off their .229 team average today after winning their last 2 in Toronto and had Opening Day at Fenway today. The Red Sox fans were upset with the Red Sox performance tonight as they only amassed 5 hits, had 2 errors and had no base runners until the 7th inning as Bonderman was fantastic. He went all 9 innings striking out 7 Boston hitters on his way to his 2nd win of the season. Brandon Inge's 2-run homerun in the 2nd inning was the biggest hit off John Lackey and he also went 3-4 with a double along with that homerun. Today also marked Damon's return to Fenway not being a Yankee. Bonderman's gem has propelled the Tigers to an MLB best 6-1 record and has sent the Red Sox down to 3-6.

Drew Homers in the 10th To Give Red Sox First Home Win

April 9 -- The Red Sox offense struggled once again and were shut out for 18 innings this series until Drew came up huge with a 3-run homerun in the 10th off of Zumaya. Justin Verlander dominated tonight with 7 1/3 scoreless innings but luckily Jon Lester was just as good going 8 scoreless innings. Both offenses struggled equally only getting 5 hits each with Drew having 3 hits, after him no one had more than one hit. With this win the Red Sox beat the best team in baseball and won their first game at Fenway Park this season.

I don't, it makes me feel like I can't hit at all  But luckily I got a mistake pitch. I put the pitch speed to "fast" and lock on to normal so its very tough

And also it's my first win as far as game logs go  4 has to be a record for losses in a row for game logs for me ever..

Well yeah, it sucks when it happens to you, but I enjoy seeing games like that.

And yeah, that HAS to be a record for you. You're usually pretty good.

Red Sox Make Moves, Wakefield to DL
April 10 -- Following a 4-2 loss to Detriot, the Red Sox sent LHP Scott Schoenweis to AAA and called up LHP Alan Embree. Schoewenweis had a 15.1 ERA in 4.1 innings and Embree is called up for his role in the bullpen. Embree spent time with Boston during their championship run in 2004. The bigger story is RHP Tim Wakefield is heading to the DL after elbow pains causing him to leave Thursday's game. The knuckleballer had a 1.80 ERA in 15 innings but no decisions. Clay Buchholz will be called up to replace him, Wakefield's expected to be out for about 21 days.

Red Sox and Yankees Renew Rivalry With Another Walk-Off

April 9 -- The Red Sox and Yankees renewed their 100 year rivalry with the Red Sox's 2nd walk-off win in 3 games as David Ortiz came up with another big hit. Josh Beckett got off to a rocky start in the 1st inning giving up a 2-run homerun to Alex Rodriguez but settled in after. The Red Sox bats showed spark in the 4th inning off A.J Burnett with a 2-out RBI double by Adrian Beltre and a 2-run homerun by Mike Cameron to give the Red Sox a 3-2 lead. The Red Sox held on to their lead until a struggling Okajima gave up a homerun to Granderson with 2 outs in the 8th to tie the game at 3. But the Red Sox came through, David Ortiz singled in the winning run with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th for another clutch moment in his Red Sox career to win the season opener with the Yankees 4-3.

I'm following. Just catching up on this today.

You're doing agents, right? I'll take Beckett and Youkilis.

I am also following. I loved the Pirates log, hopefully this will be as good or better.

I'll be the agents for Pedroia and Papelbon.

Red Sox Sweep Yankees on Buchholz's First Start Gem

April 13 -- The Red Sox struggles seem like a distant past after sweeping the rival Yankees on Sunday Night Baseball thanks to a gem by Clay Buchholz. Buchholz got his first start after Wakefield was sent to the DL and he went 7 1/3 innings giving up only 2 runs to get the win. The Red Sox scored first with an RBI single by Victor Martinez and then scored a run in the 5th on a Pedroia single and another run in the 6th by an RBI groundout by Ortiz to account for the Red Sox scoring and give them a 3-0 lead going into the 8th. But it got tough in the 8th for the Red Sox bullpen. Jeter hit an RBI double off of Buccholz and then Granderson continued his great day(4-4) with an RBI double to make it a one run game. But Daniel Bard would strike out A-Rod with a runner on 2nd and Embree would get Cano to fly out to end the inning. Papelbon would have a 1-2-3 ninth inning to bring out the brooms in Fenway

Indians Sweep 2-Game Set In ALCS Rematch

April 15 -- In a rematch of the 2007 ALCS, the Cleveland Indians finished a 2-game sweep of Boston in their only visit to Progressive Field this season. Lester was off to a good start this season with a 1.17 ERA but only a 1-0 record to show for it and Aaron Laffey on the other side had a 2.00 ERA and a 2-0 record. The Indians scored first on a homerun by Russell Branyan in the 3rd but the Red Sox tied it on Scutaro's 10th RBI of the season. Lester then gave it up in the 3rd inning, a 2-run double by Travis Hafner and an RBI single by Austin Kearns gave the Indians a 4-1 lead and knocked Lester out of the game after 5 innings. The Indians would then ice it off as Grady Sizemore hit a 2-run homerun in the 6th, his first homer of the season, to give them a 6-1 lead. The Red Sox would score one more but that would not be nearly enough.

Ellsbury's Grand Slam Caps Blowout For Red Sox

April 19 -- After losing 3 of their last 4, the Red Sox beat up on the Rangers in the 2nd game of this series winning 10-2. The combination of Ellsbury, Youkilis and Beltre went just 3-13 but combined for 3 homeruns and 8 RBI's. The Red Sox pounded Brandon McCarthy early with 2-run homeruns by Youkilis and Beltre in the 1st inning. The Red Sox scored 2 more runs in the 2nd but finished off the game when Jacoby Ellsbury hit his 1st career grand slam in the 3rd inning to up 10-4 and knocking out McCarthy who gave up 10 runs, easily a career high. The benefactor of this was John Lackey. He has struggled so far with the Red Sox and came into today with an 0-2 record with a 5.50 ERA. Tonight though he went 7 innings giving up only 2 early runs en route to his first victory in a Red Sox uniform.

Ortiz Late Blast Enough For Patriots Day Win

April 21 -- The Red Sox hosted their annual Patriots Day game where they play at 11:05 in the morning while the Boston Marathon is in progress. This year they hosted the Texas Rangers who are happy to leave Boston as they lost their 3rd straight to the Red Sox to end the series. It was a pitchers duel as the Rangers scored first on an infield RBI single in the 2nd inning, that would end up being the only run allowed by Dice-K who had a strong outing. The Red Sox tied it as Ellsbury homered for the 2nd time this series in the 5th inning. The Red Sox took the lead in the 8th when Ortiz hit a solo homerun over the Green Monster to give the Red Sox the 2-1 lead against Scott Feldman who took a tough loss today. Papelbon struck out 2 in the 9th after giving up a lead-off hit and was able to finish off the Rangers for the series win.

I also just put up agents in the 1st post. When you're an agent you just do whatever you did/said in the Pirates log I guess
