I don't have lock-on. I don't even have the pitching cursor on.

sorry about that.
We've just been saying, going 160-2 every season isn't that exciting...
And we've recently been coming up with ideas to make it harder, but not too much harder.

8/30 - Durbin, Phillies Hand Cubs Fifth Loss of the Season
The Cubs have lost game number five of the season today to the Phillies in Chicago. Chad Durbin pitched a complete game allowing just one run on six hits to the Cubs as they beat the Cubs 2-1. The Cubs and Phillies still have one more game in this four game series in Chicago--Can the Phillies at least tie the series?

8/30 - Bautista Placed on 15-Day DL; Cubs Call-Up Fontenot
Cubs infielder Jose Bautista was injured in today's game trying to make a diving catch at a pop-up in shallow right-center field. He was immediately taken out of the game for care and Ronny Cedeno filled in for him the rest of the game at second base. The Cubs have now called up second baseman Mike Fontenot to replace him on the team.

8/31 - Cubs Drop Two in a Row
For the first time this season, the Cubs have lost two games in a row. Cubs starting pitcher Carlos Zambrano had a perfect game going into the seventh inning broken up by Shane Victorino. Then in the top of the 8th with the Cubs leading 3-0, Carlos Zambrano gave up two singles to start the inning and was taken out of the game. Bob Howry came on to pitch and gave up four runs that inning, two going to Zambrano, and two to Howry as the Cubs lose to the Phillies 4-3. This is the sixth loss of the season for the Cubs, and the first time they've lost two in a row. The the series split, two games to two games in this four game series on the north side of Chicago.

9/3 - Loss Number Seven a Tough One
The Cubs have lost number seven this season in a game they should have won. Leading the Astros 5-0 going into the top of the seventh inning at Wrigley, Rich Hill, the starting pitcher who had only given up two hits and struck out twelve in the game gave up five runs that inning to tie the game 5-5. In the top of the ninth, Bob Howry gave up the go ahead run on a bloop double in right field right on the foul line. The Cubs failed to score in the bottom of the ninth losing a tough game 6-5.
