It defies definition.
At least at the moment.
We will still do some RPG-type stuff until the LVB's opening day.
Then it will be a season mode where you can choose what type of training you do.
And hopefully more interaction too.

March 1st, still continued...

"I see a Shark", said Dusty
"Mmm-hmm", said Daniella, "this will be good for the team. Sharks are associated with performing under pressure. You will be what they call a Clutch 4. Embrace it."
...
"I see an Eagle", said Tucker.
"How fortuitous!" She replied. "Two players gaining the Clutch 4 on one team!"
...
Dusty and Tucker left the clubhouse with a new feeling of confidence.
They both felt so good about their spirit animals that they decided to get tattoos after that days games.

Still March 1st...

"I see a bear" said Lance.
"Indeed", said Daniella, "just as Cristobal did when he sat before me so many years ago.
You two are more similar than I thought. And just like him, you will harness the strength of the bear to become a PowerHitter."
...
Lance stepped into the batting cage that day, curious about the spirit animal exercise and wondering whether or not it was real.
His first swing felt pretty normal, but he was stoked at how the ball jumped off his bat.
The ball went sailing up--and to his shock--over the left field netting. A long homer.
He grinned.
This was going to be fun.

"Jack, hey Jack. JACK!"
Jack opened his eyes, looking dazed.
"I saw a lion. It was a flying lion."
"Uh-huh", Daniella considered his vision, then replied, "that is some vision. It bodes well for you. Your thieving ways shall improve. You're a Steal 4 now."

March 2nd, 2016
The guys head out to grab some lunch after morning practice...

Tucson's best taco truck was called Tacos Guadalajara, and it's following rivaled religion in the greater Tucson area. The owner, Fernando Fernandez, was a big baseball fan and had named his dishes after famous Latin peloteros.

A spring training tradition, eating at Fernandos taco truck was of the utmost importance to Cristobal and Alfonzo. As they waited eagerly in line, Cristobal gave them some advice on ordering:
"This isn't just food, amigos. You will not only come away from this meal with a full belly, but with increased baseball skills as well. We will eat here again during spring training, and the menu is always the same."

The guys surveyed the menu:

1. CHA CHA: (CON +2, PWR+20)
2. MANITO: (TOPSPD+2, CTRL+20)
3. EL TORO: (STAM+15, CTL+15)
4. ARRIBA: (SPD+2, ARM+2, FLD +2)

place your orders, amigos
And note: if you're maxed out on a particular skill, the points will go toward the other skills boosted by that dish

Fernando Fernandez brought an armload of plates out to the picnic table that the players had occupied. He had Manitos, Arribas, Cha Chas, and a few of his most famous dish, El Toro.
Everybody dug in. It was delicious.
