Yeah, he probably writes it down, or takes pictures of the box score and stuff

Yep, I write down an inning-by-inning summary and put the important stuff that happens in the finished summary.

But that just seems to waste so much time...

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

And that is why I type as I play, and submit as soon as I'm done.

It's not that hard to just note "^1: GO by X, FO by Y, HR by Z" for me and then putting it into a format.

I think it's a lot harder to do what I did in the Giants log - write a story as I go and then fill in all of the other stuff later.
This way I have the info and story already prepared and all that needs to be done is filling it into my box score format.

I do the same.

I play the game, and then write the rest either right away or after. I actually have a Knights game done, I just have to type up the Kyoto Knightly part...

Yeah, it's kinda hard to explain.

It's like I'd rather do option A: write all info on paper first - notable scores/game MVP/best hitting/pitching so that it's all saved for later, rather than option B (what I used to do in the Giants log): write it right away - type a part of the story as it happens, then type notable scores/game MVP/best hitting/pitching immediately after, with the risk of losing it.

Then again, I made my Giants log a lot more complicated by putting every batters' stats instead of the most important ones, and putting all of the extra stuff that wasn't needed, as well as making the story extra extra long. Now I just do it simple - score, summary, and important info.

I guess it doesn't matter either way and if you don't understand it's alright, but basically what I mean is that what I'm doing now makes it easy to gather, save, and then type up whenever I need to.

I'd say do an option C, and combine both techniques.

It didn't last very long, but one game you have to look at is the Cardinals game. Crazy, man.

Hard to believe it's already been a year (and two months) since I started that.

(74-34) Eagles vs Blue Jays (48-63): Game 1

For a well-below .500 team, the Jays certainly gave us a good challenge. It was only an inning into the game that they got to starter Matt Moore - A Michael Bourn single, fielder's choice, RBI single by Edwin Encarnacion, and finally, a 2-RBI single by Brett Lawrie lead to a 3-run lead for them early on. Rookie Fullmer, who began the game at a 2-4 record on the season, retired our offense successfully to start, but it wasn't too long until our guys woke up. "Dat Dude" BP put us on the scoreboard in the third with a 2-run bomb, 400 feet to center field. The power kept coming just an inning later, this time the source of it being consistent power hitter Chris Davis, as he slugged his 15th homer on the season. It just barely eclipsed Phillips' home run, flying 410 ft. to right field. After that solo homer, Fullmer, as well as Matt Moore, had kept the game to a 3-3 tie. It was a matter of who would strike next that would likely be the deciding factor in who got the victory. This was clutch time, and I couldn't think of anybody better to step up to the plate then Blake Carter. It was the 6th, and our star player launched a huge solo shot to center - and everybody upstairs let out a collective sigh of relief. As it landed in the stands, raucous cheers could be heard all over the stadium. He'd done it again, and all that was left was for Matt Moore to finish the job. For the most part, he did just that, allowing no more hits until being relieved by Chris Sale in the 9th, who shut down Toronto 1-2-3 to end the game and grab the save. Thanks to the win, we're now 9-1 vs the Blue Jays in 2016.

Player of the Game: B.Carter - knocked in the winning run with HR in bottom of the 6th

Final Score:
Blue Jays: 3
Eagles: 4

W - M. Moore (12-2) | L - Fullmer (2-5) | SV - Sale (5)
HR: C.Davis (15), B.Carter (27), B.Phillips (6)
-----------------------------------------------

B.Phillips: 1-4, HR, 2 RBI, R
B.Carter: 1-4, HR, RBI
Machado: 2-3, 2B, R
C.Davis: 1-3, HR
M.Moore: 8 IP, 7 H, 3 K, 3 ER
Sale: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER

Bourn: 1-4, R
J.Bautista: 0-3, SO
E.Encarnacion: 2-4, 2 2B, RBI, R
Lawrie: 2-4, 2 RBI
Fullmer: 6 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 3 HR
E.Crawford: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER

Agents, if you wanna see your player's stats this game or any game when they aren't listed, or what they're doing in practice, let me know.

When you've got Chris Sale closing, you know you're a good team.

Strange thing is, he's not even the closer. Aroldis is, then my Success guy Chris Price is the SU, along with Sale. We've gotten really good in 4 years after all the trades and whatnot.

I just didn't want to pitch Aroldis if I didn't feel I needed to.
