All-Star Game|National League Second Update

Ryan Doumit made a splash today after shooting up into the ranking as first place catcher.

my client still has no clue where he ranks among the leaders in saves.
also, he would like to know if and when he gets on the all-star ballot (i know, coach's choice or whatever)

On the first night of interleague play, Nick Markakis came up big for the O's. After scoring 3 runs off of Guthrie in the 1st the Orioles came back and won after a 7th inning comeback capped by a dropped ball by Jeff Clement which scored a run. Garrett Jones tied it in the 8th but Markakis gave the O's the lead for good with a homerun in the 8th off of rookie Evan Meek.


Orioles win 5-4

HR: Orioles: Roberts(6) Huff(17) Markakis(15) | Pirates: Jones(11)

Nope, .271 AVG and 4 HR is solid. But not all-star worthy. Unless he gets on a wicked tear then he has no chance

I'll make sure to tell everyone the coach's selection

He's also 5th in the majors and 2nd in the NL with saves(15)

ya i know bt I plan on using him as a catcher

And i just finished the orioles series and I won 1 of 3

Capps is having trouble, he gave up 3 runs in the 9th and we won 9-8 though

Fine, partner Doumit up with whoever the backup is, and pair Milledge up with McCutchen. Make sure both of my clients are the veteran leaders.

I just put Doumit and Milledge together
Doumit is the leaders

And Update:

As the third All-star game update came, Ryan Doumit went from 1st place to 3rd place at catcher and Soriano is edging out Bruce for 3rd place on the all-star balloting for OF

This is only the 3rd updates though

The 1st place leaders are:

C- Schneider(NYM)
1B- Pujols
2B- Utley
SS- Tejeda
3B- Wright
OF- Ramirez
OF- Beltran
OF- Soriano(CHC)
