Falcons look ahead to August after tough month
The Falcons had a rough month of July going 9-16 , I didn't need to make any big moves so I didn't. And Frenchy won Rookie of the Month with a .382 average, 4 homers and 20 ribbies. Great month for Frenchy! But I am 8 games behind now the Mariners, its gonna be tough. One problem I have is that I can't seem to find my 3 starting outfielders. Murphy has D power now and is pretty much my center fielder but hes still a question, Willits is on the bench now, Gutierez is uncertain and Sweeney seems like the only sure thing in the outfield at this point. My record stands at an even 53-53, and I play 6 more games against the mariners this season including a 3 game series to begin August

Falcons need to rally in September
After a tough July, the Falcons have rebounded to a 17-10 August, their best yet. French has sturggled but still has 5 homers and a .280 average so they will have to moniter that. They are 6 behind Texas and the west is a 3-way race with the Angels over 20 out of it. They will play 3 versus Texas and Seattle which will probably prove to be the big series of the month.

Normally this would be a good move, but the Rangers already have Reyes at shortstop and Manny DHing. Plus the Rangers have pretty bad pitching and giving up 2 good pitching isn't gonna help

geez, even before you consider the rosters the pirates robbed the rangers.

I would still consider that a very fail deal
But if the Rangers have nowhere to put him then its bad
I absolutly hate how some great players are on the bench, for instance, one team had Utley Pedroia and Roberts, and they only have Utley playing. And one team has Pujols and Berkman, with Berkman on the bench, I mean just find some way to trade them!!

3B Brian Buscher, C Raul Sasanova, and pitchers bobby korecky, justing miller and moylan called up in september call-ups

And I didnt know this til now but Mark Lowe has a 1.48 ERA, I didn't even know he was in my bullpen

It might not be as easy as it looks...
Me and Oakland are both 4 games behind the Mariners and Rangers which will pretty much get rid of the wild card chances almost
Theres only 9 games left too

Now 6 games left and 4 behind Texas for wild card and 6 behind mariners for west, I hope Texas collapses

And for the record, Hardy is DH for them, and Manny moved to left

Texas has lost 4 straight and I've won four straight, we're tied for the wild card and have 2 games to go

Ok its the last game of the season, and I lead 1 game in the wild card over Texas and against Oakland I gave up 2 9th inning runs to let them tie it

Walk-off brings me in the play-offs

I can't believe Hannahan did it!! His first homer was a walk-off but this one is just...wow

Loney and Volquez both won their monthly awards also, I'll start the postseason tommorow
