Postseason Preview: Red Sox Vs Eagles

The Eagles will be in the postseason for the first time and the red sox will be here for the 6th time in the last 7 seasons. The Eagles will throw out Zadan for game one because McDaniel is still recovering from the season finale. The Red sox will throw out 16-4 Jon Lester who had a team leading 3.14 ERA, they also have Beckett who had a bounceback year and had a 3.13 ERA. The first 2 games will be at Fenway park and the final 3 will be at Rainbow Beach Park.

Eagles projected starters:
Game 1- Zadan
Game 2- McDaniel
Game 3- Carlyle
Game 4(if necessary)- Nixon
Game 5(if necassary) -Zadan(or Minges if Zadan is not ready)

The deal is that I'll play game 1 and I'll see what I do after that

Ya I'm gonna need one, he'll probably replace Minges but if their prices are too high. Then I'll go with open competition in spring training, I liked what I saw with Lunar and in a few years(Once he gets B stamina) Conrad will probably join the rotation.

But right now I'm just focused on game 1 at Fenway. LETS GO HAWAII

AL Cy Young- Wang

NL MVP- Utley
AL MVP- Giambi by a LONG shot( .336 AVG 45 Homers 168 RBIS, how are his stats this good? ?)


NL ROTY- No clue
AL ROTY- Easily Garcia

Compared to Giambis stats he does but its game 1 and i'm in the 3rd and its 2-1 Red Sox on back to back homers by Lowell and Drew

And right now its 3-3 in the bottom of the 8th. I just tied it with a 2 out single by Alcheves and Zadan went 6 IP and 3 runs and Massett worked the 7th but now I'm gonna have to mix and match pitchers with ortiz youk and lowell coming up

EAGLES TAKE GAME 1 WITH GARCIAS BAT
The Eagles have one their first ever playoff game in a 4-3 victory over Boston, there was drama in the 9th as Garcia hit a changeup over the monster seats off Lester, who tossed a complete game, in the bottom of the 9th McMillan let up a 1 out double to Varitek, Lowrie grounded to 2nd for out number 2 but varitek moved to third and ellsbury grounded to quentin to end the threat and the game.
