Paul McCartney (Stranglers) floaties. He's trying to raise awareness for Athlete's foot/Paul McCartney disease.

That's cool. Can you mention in your log that future Rev is donating $100 for every Eagles win to the cause. That should be an interesting segment.

Eagles Fall By Pair of Homers
Lillian Porter
January 23rd, 2035
The Eagles have gotten their first taste of defeat in the 2035. Boo Gonzalez and Sy squared off on a warm summer day in Rainbow Stadium in Hawaii. The game started out very slow offensively, but strongly pitching wise. Boo and Sy would trade scoreless innings and measly hits.

By the way the game was playing, the Eagles were lined up to win. The Whales made many baserunning errors in the first couple of innings. In the bottom of the first inning, second baseman Jones tried to stretch a single into a double, but failed miserably. He tried to hurry back to first, but was caught in the rundown. In the bottom of the fourth innings, center fielder McClennon got a bloop single just over Dan Martia's outstretched glove, but tried to stretch it into a double as well and was thrown out by a mile.

"Those mistakes are going to cost us if we play a high caliber team, such as the Eagles," said Frank Bartlett, manager of the Whales.

Those mistakes almost cost them the game, when in the bottom of the inning 5th, Hiro Nakamura hit an RBI double into the gap to bring home Willie the Kid. In the bottom half, the Whales would redeem themselves. Willis hit a leadoff single. After an out, Parkman hit a towering homer into the Left Field Bleachers to make it 2 to 1.

In the top of the 6th, Patrick Gainer launched a ball, but was blown down by the wind and was robbed by #00 Mother Nature. Their luck was again smothered in the bottom of the inning when Francis hit a two run home run off the left field foul pole. It stung more when Gainer realiezed he hit his farther.

"That's how it goes man," he said in a post game interview. "The odds just weren't in my favor."

In the top of the 7th, KiD CuDi absolutely smashed a ball to center field into the water. The Eagles showed signs of coming back after all they'd been through.

The bottom of the 7th showed the first sign of Gregory Sanders, who pitched a good 7th and 8th.

The Eagles couldn't get anything going in the 8th or 9th innings. Sy went into the 9th battling Fatigue, but got the final out to record the first ever W for the Whales.

This game was not played, but watched. After the game, we get the first player update.
