YOU STOLE MY TEAM NAME!

No matter, I'll think of something else...considering that I'm 9 pages too late...

Who are you? Do I know you?

End of April:
The AL Rookie of the Month Award was not awarded for absolutely no reason at all. I really hope the person who decides the awards was fired for that stupidity. If Rookies played that month, somebody had to be the best Rookie of the Month, it's just common sense. Same with Rookie of the Month and Relief Pitcher of the Month in NL. Before you know it they'll stop giving out Rookie of the Year Awards as well.

Financial Report:
Income: 7695
Expenses: 5974
Total Gain: 1721
Current Amount: 130247

The Reapers played well in April, finishing in the lead of the AL West, 2 games ahead of second place and 4 games ahead of last place.

Rottino lead the team pitching, with a 2.17 ERA and a 4-0 record, there weren't many other pitching highlights for the team, despite this, they have the best ERA in the Division. Pedrioa leads the team with an average of .336 and 36 hits, and ties with Bay for the lead with 18 runs. Bay lead the team in Home Runs with 5 for the month. Youkilis leads the team with 25 RBIs. Of several notable poor starts for Reapers hitters, Corey Hart has by far the worst, hitting .191 for the month with only 1 home run. Despite the teams power throughout the whole lineup, they only had 23 all month, the worst in their division. The general manager may have to work to get a new second baseman, though he deliberately worked it out so Zuniga could stay in the lineup because of his performance in the past, but to start off this year he's hitting .218 with no home runs.

Some things in this game really don't make a lot of sense. My pitchers aren't really too great, yet I've had the best ERA in the division pretty much the whole time my team has been around. And I've been working to improve the hitting the whole time, when I look through my lineup, it seems absolutely stacked, only 1 player has power under B, yet my team still can't hit many home runs. And Corey Hart has level C contact, why does he keep hitting under .200, when players with E contact can hit at around .220 at the very least? He's also the only player with A power, yet only one player on the team has a lower home run total than him.

I'm thinking I may start to play some games, no big impact, but maybe one or two games a month, without summaries, and not in playoff games or anything. It may help to get slightly more realistic stats, even though it may take years to adjust the difficulty to be appropriate.

Reapers Refuse Late May Blockbuster Trade:

Blue Jays would have got:
Jason Bay

Reapers could have got:
A.J.Burnett

"It was actually a surprisingly easy decision to reject this trade offer. Burnett's salary is over four times as much as Bay's. Burnett hasn't been having an amazing year, with a 4.57 ERA, and Bay has had success with our team, which is surprisingly rare for hitters."

End of May:
Reapers Dransfeld won Rookie of the Month, with 1 win, a 1.69 ERA and 4 strikeouts. Reapers Mitre won Pitcher of the Month, with 4 wins, a 2.34 ERA and 20 strikeouts.

Financial Report:
Income: 11998
Expenses: 6386
Total Gain: 5612
Current Amount: 135859

The Reapers put some distance between themselves and the other AL West teams, finishing the month at 36-18, they are 9 games ahead of the Mariners and Angels.

Rottino's pitching continues to dominate, he has a 7-0 record with a 1.92 ERA. Duke, despite his 3.18 ERA, has a 3-5 record right now. Mitre's 3.78 ERA has gotten him a 5-3 record. Fireballer continues to dominate in relief, with a 1.01 ERA right now. Unfortunately nobody wants to give out any relief pitching awards so there's nothing he can win for his pitching.

Pedroia is leading the hitting with a .323 average and 70 hits so far. Sean Casey and Jack Wilson are tied with 8 home runs. Jack Wilson leads the team in RBIs with 52. Corey Hart's hitting, though far from great, has improved, it is now up to .213 and he has 5 home runs. Zuniga brought his average up to .255 with 1 home run. Robbins' average isn't too good at the moment, it's at .236.

Reapers team ERA of 3.27 is an amazing 1.71 better than the team with the second best ERA in the division. Their team average of .275 is second worst in the division but it is .014 ahead of the worst.

Draft Day Results:

Despite the Reapers already dominant pitching staff, they drafted two more pitchers because there are just never any decent hitting prospects in these drafts.

Minges:
3 Star Potential
P
Top speed: 91
Control: D 128
Stamina: C 109
Level 3 Cutter
Level 3 Slider
Level 3 Curveball
Level 2 Forkball
Spin 2, Throwing 2

McMillon:
3 Star Potential
P
Top speed: 90
Control: D 121
Stamina: C 94
Level 2 Curveball
Level 3 Knuckleball
Level 3 Forkball

In other news, the Reapers have sent down struggling swing-man Bumstead, who had an ERA of 5.47 for the season. Bourgeois, who has a 1.80 ERA this year, will be taking his job as swing-man. Draft pick Minges will be taking over Bourgeois' job as a middle reliever.

End of June:
Reapers Dransfeld won Rookie of the Month with a 0.00 ERA, 0 saves, 0 wins, and 3 strikeouts. Reapers Duke won Pitcher of the Month, with 5 wins, a 1.77 ERA and 44 strikeouts.

Financial Report:
Income: 11365
Expenses: 6635
Total Gain: 4730
Current Amount: 140589

The Reapers had a great 17-10 month to put themselves 8 games ahead of the second place Angels.

"It looks like we're going to make the playoffs this year, but we can't assume that and start slacking off now."

Rottino's record is now 8-1 and he has a 1.87 ERA, but not enough innings pitched to count in the ERA rankings. This means Beckett is the ERA leader, at 2.55, only slightly better than Duke's 2.68. Beckett is 7-1 and Duke is 8-5. Fireballer continues to dominate, his ERA still stays around 1, but it is now 1.03.

Bay leads the team in batting average and hits, at .321 and with 99. Youkilis and Robbins both have 12 home runs to tie for the lead. Jack Wilson leads RBIs with 63. Corey Hart still has a bad average, at .232, but at least he's starting to hit some home runs, he's at 8 now. Zuniga is hitting .256 with 2 home runs.

The Reapers have the best team ERA in the MLB, at 3.28. Their team average is .275, which is somewhere around the middle rank in their division.

All Star Game next month.

Reapers All Stars:

Jason Bay placed 4th in the fan voting for outfielders, only the top 3 get in though, so Bay got in as a coach selection.

There is no fan voting for pitchers, other Reapers players who were selected by coaches are Zach Duke, Josh Beckett, and Fireballer. With an ERA almost 0.5 lower and only 4 less innings pitched than Beckett, fans are wondering why Rottino couldn't have been selected as well.

I apologize, but I do not. I really like this log, though.
