Are you going to do any more of the Bob Chambers stuff or just games from now on?

I think just games. Sorry.

Darn, that was what drew me to this log.

I don't really know what else I can update with Bob. Maybe the draft. IDK, I'm trying to figure out a way to lose simulated games.

Yeah you could do the draft, free agency, and whenever you get a trade request or make a trade. Stuff like that.


You could also do a post where Bob and his trusted assistant Alex are trying to figure out a way to lose games

How about monthly reports from the front office?

I've been making fence all day, and just got back, so I'll get some updates in tomorrow. I'm beat though.

Yeah, and what the team needs to do to keep it going, improve (like that's gonna to happen), possible trade opportunities, who's hot and who's not, etc.

Honolulu Sluggers (36-15) @ Minnesota Twins (19-32)

5-27-08-The Sluggers jumped to an early lead, and didn't look back against the Twins. Backe crushed an RBI double in the second, and Stewart got an RBI single to make it 2-0 after 2 innings. Posey got a 2 RBI double in the 3rd, and Stewart got another RBI single, to make it 5-0. In the 4th, Greene hit a 2 run homer to make it 7-0. The Twins scored 3 in the 6th, on a Mike Lamb 2 RBI single, and an Adam Everett RBI single, to make it 7-3. No more runs would score, and the Sluggers picked up another win. Our next game is on the 30th, in Boston, with Julio Pena scheduled to start.

Honolulu Sluggers (39-15) @ Boston Red Sox (26-28)

5-30-08-The Sluggers beat the defending champion Red Sox today, in Boston. The action started early for the Boston faithful, as David Ortiz homered in the 1st to give the Sox an early 1-0 lead. The Sluggers scored 5 runs in the 3rd though, on a Jones double off the wall, a bases loaded 3 RBI double by Gonzalez, and a Posey RBI ground-out, to make it 5-1. In the 4th, Jason Varitek hit a 3 run homer to bring the Soz within 1, 5-4. The Sluggers got 2 more in the 8th, on an RBI single by Jones, and an RBI single by Gordon. The Sox got a run of their own in the 8th, on a Manny Ramirez solo homer, to make it 7-5. No more runs would cross the plate though. Our next game is on the 3rd, against the Dodgers, with Techer starting.

May in Review
The Sluggers went 20-7 in May, similar to April's record, separated only by 1 loss. They are now 40-15 on the season. They now have an 8 game lead over the Angels in the division. They have the best record in baseball, by 4 games over the Yankees. Techer is 8th in the MLB in the ERA category, with a 2.81. Thornton is T-4 in wins, with 7. Washington is 2nd in saves, with 13. Backe is 2nd in average, with a .385. Stewart is tied for the most hits, with 82. Alex Gordon was Player of the Month, with a tied for league leading 19 homers, and 64 RBI is the best in the majors. Let's hope for a great June as well!

Yeah, Gordon's leading the homer race, and I stopped using a power swing with him, so he doesn't end up with 70+ homers. ANY tips on how to lose some(a lot)more simulated games? ANY.

I got nothing. IDK use some AAA scrubs for a while?
