Hahaha! That's a good one, the NLDS will go on today. I will probably play game 1 sim 2 and play 3, and play 4/5 if nec.

The pirates will be playing the braves in the NLDS. Update on game 1 soon.


Pirates unfortunately lose game 1 at that last AB in the 9th......

Pirates lose 1-0 again.... it's win or go home now.....



PIRATES WIN GAME 3 IN EXTRAS 3-1!!!! BRINGS THE SERIES BACK TO PITTSBURGH.

PIRATES TIE THE SERIES 2 ALL WITH THEIR BACKS TO THE WALL WITH A 2-1 WIN OVER ATLANTA!!!!!

Game 5 updates: DAN JOHNSON TIES IT IN THE 8TH PH HR!!!

PIRATES WIN IN 17!!!!!! WALK-OFF BY JASON MICHAELS NLCS HERE WE COME!!!!!!

D-backs win over Mets

Sox over white Sox and A's over Tribe


We play D-backs.


Bucs lose game 1.... D-backs walk-off in game 2.... Not good.... BUT BUT


PIRATES WALK OFF IN THE 9TH TO TAKE GAME 3 1-0!!!!!

Pirates win game 4, AND WALK OFF IN GAME 5 after the D-backs tied it 3-3 in the 9th....

PIRATES ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES AGAINST A'S
With a 3-zip win over the D-backs. After losing the first 2 games they come back and win the next 4.

This cinderella story is almost complete.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! The Pirates have stopped their skid of 16 consecutive losing seasons (?) with a world series title!!! reminds me of 1971... ah... wait I wasn't alive in 1971 :lol:

The whole team is shocked, but never once did they believe they were out of it, as Captain Adam LaRoche puts it: "We were destined from the start, cinderella wasn't a word to us. We worked hard and won it all".

Jack Wilson added: "I'M GOING TO HAWAII!!!!'

Many teammates can't wait to take a short break from Baseball. The GM is already looking forward to next year.

However it's not all good. Their have been talks of retirment from longtime player Hideo Nomo.



Don't remind me of those cold hard 16 years!
