Maybe the next move (if you have any trade pieces left) is to go after a solid SP to take Bedard's place - I'd say Homer Bailey.

Is Homer Bailey in this game?

What team would he be on?

Reds' minors, named "Great Paulino", just 22 yrs. old. 93 fastball, 4 DCB, and FBLife4/Spin4 (with E ctrl).

That's pretty good, yuniesky Betancourt is pry the guy to head there then.

may I say holy crap.

I forgot to send the guys back down (josh fields is staying up) I simulated two games, and Elijah dukes has 15 RBI, he only had 7 when I got him.

it's that special jerky, willing Elijah to dominate with his new team.. Eric would be proud. :)

also I'd consider maybe a Putz/? for Chamberlain+ deal (maybe get another SP?) later. Buchholz is another good option, heck I'm just throwing suggestions out there.

I'd love to make a stacked young roster with the default rosters but I'm always working on updating them.

Buchholz is icky. The Putz idea is pretty good but I'm going to wait a bit before doing any more trades if this bailey one goes through.

Yeah, sorry for throwing a lot of stuff out there. I'm just always trading in the MLB games.

you should be set with a nice young group if you can get Bailey also.

Mariners continue onslaught of trade market

Just days after GM Prediction made the biggest move of his career, purchasing a 50 million dollar bat that will break next year, he has made one even bigger, trading for starting pitcher Homer Bailey, he sent Yuniesky Betancourt as well as Greg Norton in exchange for the youn starting pitcher, it has been reported that Jose Vidro will move to SS, as Josh Fields moves to the DH spot as to fit him in the lineup.

That's all for now.

June 4th, 2008.

Mariners lose in blowout

Mariners: 4
Angels: 14

Win: Lackey (3-7)
Save: X
Loss: F. Hernandez (5-4)
HR: Torii Hunter (3) (8) (9) (10)
G. Anderson (6)
Kotchman (8)
Ibanez (10)

Oh pity, another blowout, this appears to be an occurrence for the Seattle ballclub who have now lost another game against division rivals the Los Angeles Angels. Felix Hernandez pitched this game, going just five innings, giving up only three runs but still coming away with the loss, due to a poor Seattle offence. Although the Mariners finished second in their division last season, they appear to be primed to be dead last if the Rangers keep up their winng streak. This is a ballclub that once thought that they had a solid lineup, a solid rotation, a solid bullpen, a solid everything, but it appears that they will not be heading to the diamond in October.

Jeez, we sure are whimming through the season, heck, if I continue my current pace we might be in spring training by Friday.

I'll keep doing what I'm doing right now, but next season there will be an adjustment.

Mariners finish draft with three strong picks

The Seattle Mariners have come out of the draft victorious, choosing a solid third baseman in Raymundo (FDFEFF3) and a solid future starting pitcher in Robbins (C CTRL, C STAM, 90, 1 FORK, 3 SLD) their third "draft" pick was Lorraine (E CTRL, B STAM, 91, 1 SLD, 2 CB) they hope to receive some better picks next year but a solid day overall.

Guys, how would this work.

Felix Hernandez in exchange for Zach Duke, Ian Snell and Paul Maholm.

Thoughts on it?

I don't know.. I really like Felix as a young ace for you but that trade brings back multiple good starters.

Nice draft, by the way.

Yeah, I was just asking because I could've done that and still have a 5 star possibility.

Game update coming after this.

Mariners deal with orioles, send off Silva

General Manager Predictions idea was to reduce payroll and get younger players in return has been the main focus so far this year, as he sends off Carlos Silva and his ridiculous contract to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for young pitcher Adam Loewen, Loewen in the future becomes a slugger for the Jays AAA system, but rarely gets called up. Perhaps this move will change his career and avoid his injury. He will join the starting five according to Prediction.

Should I give the guy a name? Like Clyde McFloyd instead of just prediction?

AN INCREDIBLY UNREALISTIC TRADE BETWEEN NEW YORK AND ATLANTA

The Bronx Bombers have shipped off hometown hero Derek Jeter to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for aging starting pitcher John Smoltz.

I have nothing further to say on the matter.

oh, that MLBPP trade logic. sometimes it's laughable.

although, cooldude has noted how some players do become robots and have a 2.00 ERA at 51, so who knows.

Yeah, why would they trade Jeter? And why would someone other than Jamie Moyer play into their 50s?

Adam Loewen is quite serviceable, just pitched with him.
