Man, this forum needs spoiler tags. I accidentally read that, I think it ruined the whole log for me now that I know what's going to happen.

Cooldude seems to be trying very hard to win the role of friendly neighborhood sarcastic troll.

I agree to a point that the forum needs spoiler tags, not that it ruined the whole log for me, because it's not like OMG ROFLMAOBBQ STRANGLERS WIN TEH PENNANT it's just a small snippet of what happens. I liked the last one: "Paul McCartney pitches a gem, but will Pujols get the last laugh?" or whatever. It's a nice segue into what's about to happen.

Sarcasm aside, if these forums did have spoiler tags, I would use them for playoff game summaries, link to the video and then spoiler tag the summary because I think someone may want to watch the games instead.

As for adding something that's relevant to this log... Uh...

Hmm...

Should have thought of this part first...

Well...

I hope he doesn't get injured in vain...(?)

Stranglers Win a Wild One as George Harrison Walks Off. Marlins Are Killed By Errors in The Ninth

Recap
Wow what a crazy game today against the Marlins. Brian Jones was the starting and he has not been doing to well. The Marlins jumped out to a 2-0 lead early. The next inning though the Stranglers scored four. Ringo reached base and Kennedy tripled to score the run. Ryan Howard then hit a home run. John Lennon hit a single the opposite way and Keith Richards homered to right.
The Marlins really got to Brian Jones and scored four runs of their own. Dan Uggla and Luis Gonzales leading the way. Jones was taken out he gave up 6 ER in as many innings pitched today. The Edge came in and shut things down for a while unfortunately Matt Lindstrom did the same for the Marlins. Then George Harrison reached on a double. The Edge surprisingly hit a double too and Ringo Starr singled him home. Kennedy doubled and Starr scored to make it 7-6. Howard and Mick Jagger hit back to back home runs and it was 9-6. WildThing came in and pitched a shut down inning. Brian Wilson came in for the save and everything was looking fine until with two outs the Marlins strung together a few hits to plate one runner. Then with runners on second and third and two outs Jeremy Hermida hit a bomb to right field making it 10-9. A double by Luis Gonzales and Dan Uggla made it 11-9. Brian Wilson started complaining about elbow pains and had to be taken out of the game and Rudy Seanez came in and settled things down. To the bottom half we go. Kennedy, a homer away from hitting for the cycle again, walked on five pitches Kennedy stole second and Howard singled him home.11-10. Mick Jagger grounded into what looked like a double play to end the game, but Mike Jacobs dropped the ball! Lennon was then walked. Kieth Richards hit a humpback liner that was surely an easy out, but Alfredo Amezega dropped the can of corn allowing Mick Jagger to score and tie the game! George Harrison was the next batter and he singled through the first and second base gap into right field to plate John Lennon to win the game!!! The crowd goes wild as the Stranglers rush to their heroes!

WP: Rudy Seanez
LP: Kevin Gregg
MVP: George Harrison.
News and Notes: Brian Wilson was put on the 15 day DL he will likely be out for two weeks. Chris Kennedy was named the player of the week for week one of the season. Luis Gonzales broke the career doubles record.

Player Update
It was a bitter sweet celebration since Brian Wilson was hurt, but that didn't stop them from congratulating George on his walk off hit.
Kennedy: Hey everyone! Lets go have dinner at my gramma's house! It'll be fun and its only ten minutes away from right here in Scranton. You know you want a home cooked meal.

Agents decide.

To Be Continued...

Pablo and Brain are in. Brain is now only using his left hand in hope to heal faster. He is now a very messy eater. Pablo wishes he would have been there at the picnic before the Cardinals game, so he could exchange some choice Spanish words.

Sorry I've been gone all weekend, we're re-modeling the house.

Kennedy: Gramma will fix Brian the second he shows any messy eating habits. As for Pablo you definitely should have been there, but some agents are to busy building mansions.

Preview for next game: The Stranglers are on a roll, but can the Mets stop them? Also, Is Brian Jones fighting for a spot in the rotation?

Player Update

Panpaka Park: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Kennedy: Alright! Lets go. My family is down there so it'll be great.
Wilson: Wait what?
Suddenly the guys were less happy about going, but they went because of the free food and maybe they would run into some Mets players there.

The Drive Over To Gramma's House

Kennedy thinking to himself: Of course I was stuck driving and now I have to listen to Brian Wilson belting out "Over the river and through the woods..." And Paul, John, George, and Ringo have been comparing both versions of " One After 909" which is a good song, but I'm driving. And Pablo kept saying slow down in Spanish so I said Pablo you know english and now he is mad at me. There singing again that tears it...
Kennedy: SHUT UP!
George: Watch out!
Kennedy: What the?
CRASH!
They had just crashed into a cop car.

Pablo swears that he is a legal immigrant, and has to pull out his ID, even though he was born in the US.

Wilson takes his glove, and starts beating the totaled car with his LEFT hand.
