PROGRESSIVE FIELD, CLEVELAND, OHIO - Today's game was a pitcher's duel. That is, after the second inning. The Twins scored 3 runs in the first: not looking so good for the Indians pitching. But then, Victor Martinez hit a two-run homer in the first, and two more runs scored in the second. After that, it was pitching all the way. The Twins could not get a hit after the third inning. The Indians couldn't get a hit after the sixth. So, the Tribe wins a close one, 4-3.

YANKEE STADIUM, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Today's game was a pitcher's duel from the start, putting Sabathia against Hughes. The game's first runs came in the top of the third with one run from the Indians. Two innings later, in the fifth, Travis Hafner hit a two-run homerun to put the Indians up by three. In the next frame, the Yankees made a futile attempt at a rally with one run. The rest of the game was pitcher-dominated, with no more hits being earned.

APRIL IN REVIEW

The Indians had a good month of April, going 16-13. They have had some great hitting in their lineup, including Cabrera hitting .351 so far this month, with an amazing 5 triples. Sabathia also has an amazing ERA of 1.54, going 2-1 on the month.
