Usually, no. You can try to keep reloading and see if you get better luck, but I suggest trying to raise it to at least two star.

It's been done, but not by me. Huge waste of time. 2-star trades require a bit of S/L when you hit a cold streak, but they are definitely worth it.

TIP: Don't forget the $$$! If you arrange a 2-star deal with another team, scroll down and add as much cash as possible before you submit the proposal. Teams have no problems parting with huge chunks of unused payroll.

The game has a very weird trading system at times... for some reason it hates on young outfielders who are all C's and B's, 'least to me.

And I'm pretty sure you can trade Arthur Rhodes and a scrub for the Marlins' trio of stud SPs and 25% of their team payroll.

i don't ever remember trying a 1 star trade. seemed kinda futile seeing as i could rarely get a 3 star trade completed. maybe it would be possible if the other team needed to dump salary by trading away an all-star player for prospects a la Pirates or Padres. not sure if the game's A.I. is set up that way.
