Why? I was so glad to finally finish I forgot to look at records! And Wilson's save total, so I guessed, it's at least 16,and at most 17

Philadelphia Phillies (17-21) @ San Fransisco Giants (26-12)

5-11-08- The Giants lost today, even though they had plenty of hits and chances to score. Lincecum struck out the first four batters, then gave up a solo homer to Pat Burrell, to make it 0-1. In the sixth, Rowand tied it up on a sac fly to score Roberts, but the Phillies quickly answered with an RBI single by Werth in the seventh to make it 2-1. Werth repeated in the ninth, bringing in the last run of the game. The Giants have home games all this coming week.

Houston Astros (22-20) @ San Fransisco Giants (28-14)

5-15-08- The Giants' offense showed up and played great today, creaming the Astros. Molina started it in the first with an RBI single to score Winn, (who's play has greatly increased recently :D ) to make it 1-0. Rowand added another in the third on a sac fly to make it 2-0. They added six in the fourth inning, the first off of Castillo's RBI single. Then Durham got an RBI on a groundout to second, and Winn followed with a two RBI single. Molina got a low fastball and took it deep, one hopping off of the wall and getting to second, and bring in two more runs to make it 8-0. They weren't done yet, as Durham scored on an error in the sixth, and the next batter, Aurilia, brought in Winn to make it 10-0. In the eighth, Molina got his homer on a pitch that was crushed to left field to make it 11-0. The Astros finally scored in the ninth, on an RBI single by Cruz Jr. Threets got the save giving up one run in the process. (How did he get the save, if we were up and 11 and won by 10?) The Giants have their first inter-league game tomorrow against the White Sox.

This will slow down greatly because of Madden and school. I would like to continue once Madden wears down a bit, and it isn't "new" anymore. That might be about a month. But I'll have homework to do, and archery season starts on the 18th :D , basketball starts mid-October, and I'll be busy with that. But once the MLB season starts again, I might continue. I dont think I can play a baseball game that much during football season.

Chicago White Sox (25-20) @ San Fransisco Giants (29-16)

5-18-08- The Giants avoided a sweep in their first interleague series today. They got into trouble early, with a bases loaded jam, and only one out in the first. But, the White Sox grounded into a double play to end the inning. Then, in the bottom of the first, Rowand singled to right center field to score Durham and make it 1-0 Giants. The Sox quickly answered, tying the game at one off of Nick Swisher's RBI single. In the fifth, Paul Konerko hit a solo homer into McCovey Cove to give the White Sox the lead. The Giants answered as soon as they could, off of Winn's sac fly to score Roberts and tie the game at two. The next inning, Bengie Molina homered to left center to get back the Giant's lead, 3-2. In the seventh, Thome took back the lead with a pinch-hit 2 run homer to make it 4-3. Rowand grabbed the lead for the Giants again during their next at-bat, with a two RBI double making it 5-4. Uribe tied it again ( ) in the eighth with an RBI single. The Giants loaded the bases in the home half of the eighth, and struck on a two RBI single by Durham to make it 7-5. Wilson converted the save, and sealed the victory for the Giants.

San Fransisco Giants (30-18) @ Colorado Rockies (20-28)

5-21-08- The Giants avoided the sweep again by getting a win today. It was a fairly low scoring game in a hitter's park. Winn doubled in the third to drive in Durham and bring in the first run of the game, 1-0. The next batter, Aaron Rowand, homered to left center, barely clearing the wall, to bring in two and give the Giants a 3-0 lead. Then, in the seventh, Molina singled to bring in Durham and make it 4-0. That's all that Barry Zito needed, as he went 7 2/3 innings without allowing a run. The bullpen needed those runs though. Torrealba singled to bring in 1 run off of Walker, and Baker doubled to bring in 2 off of Wilson to make it 4-3. But, Wilson got the last out and wrapped up his 18th save of the year, which is the most in the MLB. The Giants now head to Florida to take on the Marlins.

That poll was being stubborn, sorry about that. I tried to fix it but I cant, so oh well. :(
Also, expect stat updates at the All-Star break. I originally said end of June and end of August, but that's too many with the added one at the end of the season.

San Fransisco Giants (32-19) @ Florida Marlins (24-26)

5-25-08- The Giants brought out the big guns against the Marlins today. They had great starting pitching, and tremendous offense. The got it going real early in the first, scoring off of Winn's RBI double to bring in Roberts, 1-0. They soon made it 4-0, off of back to back homers by Rowand and Molina, Rowand's being a 459 ft. blast to drive in Winn, and Molina's a hooking liner down the right field line. Vizquel added one more on an RBI single to bring in Aurilia and put up 5 in the first. After a scoreless second, they got a little offense in the third. Rowand homered again, this time a solo shot, to give the Giants a 6-0 lead. They then went into idle until the ninth, scoring first off of Durham's single to bring in the pinch-hitter Lewis. The Marlins had de ja vu, as Rowand homered AGAIN in the ninth, this time a three run shot to give the Giants a 10-0 lead. The Giants' bullpen screwed up again though, giving up two runs off of an RBI groundout by Hoover, and a single by Treanor. But, the Giants had a good lead, and took 2 out of 3 against the Marlins. The Giants now head to Arizona to take on the second place Diamondbacks.
