Teams would build for playoff runs, demolish, then re-build again. Just like the Major Leagues.

I would like to see lets say 20-25 years in a team.
Reason why, if you get to good (lets say win a world series or 2), your players ask for way to much salary, you can't resign them under your cap limit, then your farm system comes into play.

Farm Systems with actual stats would be nice too. And more farm teams......

Well in the first 3 years I usually would draft a Pitcher and a Fielder sometimes pitcher and pitcher. That way in year like 3 I could have a good 6 or 8 pitching prospects and a few hitting ones. Now in year 3 or 4 draft, even if I have 30th pick in the second round I can still draft 2 fielding players beacause in the later years the teams draft more pitchers. Usually you will find some serviceable field players in free agency after the draft. in the later drafts when have 2 high picks it's extremely hard to get good pitchers as most of them are taken beacause as I said before in the later years of draft, teams draft more pitchers. In fact, in year 6 you can easily get a serviceable shortstop from the draft even if you have 27th pick or so. And in year 10, I was once able to draft 2 shortstops.

Oh man, I am making a Success Team right now and I am still maknig players to shore up my bench and minor leagues, but I want to start the season already after reading this! Now I remember how much fun the draft was!
