Regarding Verlander, I've starting to cool on him a bit. Yes, he's a great pitcher who only makes 1030 a year, but just see what happens when he pitches well and asks for a new contract. I think he requested something like 19000 points and it was nearly impossible to sign him for more than two years! :shock:

On the topic of cheap, young players...

I'm still looking for a dominant, lefty reliever who's making less than 1000 points. So far, all I've found is Liriano and, to a lesser extent, George Sherrill. Anyone else know of a great lefty setup guy for cheap?

i believe somebody couldn't find a good CF that was cheap. Victorino is great in this game, but his arm streght is an F :!: :?: Not sure why, he has one of the best arms in the league. if you can stand the purple bar, i believe that you would be accurate in upping him to a 12 (B). Other than that, he's and #2 oor #6 hitter, and a good defensive player.

I don't remember, but there are a few Bs and Cs and he is definetly one of the best in the game.
