OK, so I'm having a bit of trouble with interpreting these graphs of players' abilities that come up during the draft. What does it mean if one section is bigger than the rest, and how do I interpret these graphs?

bigger = better, other than that I'm as clueless as you are.

i concur. Bigger is always better. My theory on the star rating is that it may indicate potential for blue abilities, but it seems random.

With Hitters, I look for a lot of power, since they rarely have much else. 3B's and 1B's tend to have the most power.

With pitchers, I try and get guys with the best Top Spd and Control ratio.

Best hitter I ever drafted had C power i think, best pitcher threw about 95 mph.

I always looked at the potential they had, and took them based mainly on that. Of course, the bigger the web, the better they are, or so I would think.

I've noticed that some guys with crazy breaking balls will have 86/G/D and then a few level 5 pitches or something similar.
Normally the guys who are called "MVPs" will have a solid C/C or C/B for control/stam.
