My Starting Pitcher just got fired, he had 85mph, 2CHG 1SIFB, Poise, Fastball Life, Groundball P and G Low Pitch. 1st year November.

OK, so I had a pretty good character by the time he was in AAA. Then, because I was a little short on Coach Eval, I was fired. And it pisses me off b/c my guy was shaping up to be pretty good. |

I love the new Success mode. I didn't like it at first, but that was only because I didn't understand it. The only thing I don't like is practice. I don't like that you can get very few points, or a lot of points, and you never know which. |

Yeah, it sucks that we have to pass the thing, you'll probably get used to it and it will get easier, but you mostly have to do good in the games and practice when the scout it around. I save and reload to do good in the games so I can make sure that I pass the scouts evaluation. |

The only thing was that I was in a good mood playing it b4 I kept getting fired. It was new, but also very fun. Also, I was doing pretty good with making my character better, but then I got fired. |

Actually, I just said that how it will get easier, but I got canned in AAA and I spent 4-5 hours on this character and it's not possible to become a starter or pass the scouts eval because I'm in a week where it will be the last game unless I play and win and I try to buy shiny fragrence to become a starter but I can't use it so I'm screwed. I'm done with success mode for a while now. |

Just curious before I delete the success mode I put 5 hours into, are there any suggestions to help me become a starter, I can do one thing and then the last game against Gil starts, and I'm just a tiny bit away from being a starter but apparently the coach isn't watching practice so that's shot down. Does anyone have any ideas? |

You have to practice where the coach is. And there is no way to play in the first game vs the Wild Jokers. |

I guess the only way is to practice where he is, but he's not at any of them(well I haven't seen the little bubble thing with his head in it). But, I'm going to try all the practices just to make sure, I'm in my final year almost done, but I'm not sure what went wrong, I practiced a lot and I did practice around the coach but I never gained enough evaluation from him to start. Everything is just about where it should be(I made Jay Bruce since he's not in the game, it took so long because of my slowness and I had to make a plan as I went along and think about stuff). Well, I guess I'll try evrything possible and hope one thing works. |

This new success mode is evil...but still fun until I get canned then my TV and playstation hear some choice words. But, hopefully next time I have better luck, it's weird, I passed my first guy easily without s/l but my second guy I probably did more practicing and I couldn't even earn that starting position. |

I probably could have done without the significant raise in difficulty for it this year. I was looking forward to making a bunch of Success characters, but it looks like that might be a lot harder to accomplish than I figured it would be. |

Give people sometime, I'm sure we will come out with some good stargies soon enough. Before you know it you will be able to make that uber all A's player and get hooked on this new success. |

It's different so of course you're gonna have a tough time with it at the beginning. I'm sure you'll enjoy it more once we figure out some strategies for it. My very first guy got fired and I was doing better than the one I made! Still fun in my opinion though! |

It's easier with hitters. I created a DH first. I don't know about Jaw or anything as I wasn't going for the storyline. I came out with this- 6 Contact 217 Power Field run-Gs/Fs. Even though I lost all the games I kept practicing and kept Sittch on my team (no training). I just did 2 Strength workouts then I bought a Super Spicy Hot dog to recovery 50 vitality, repeat. EDIT:: I like how they included Becky's Dad. Too bad you can't find all the other chars... I mean wouldn't it be cool if there was a random where'd there'd be a game on TV you watch where it's like, "And Alvin pitches another shutout!!" or "There it goes, Walk Off Homerun by Mark"? Currently I liked the old success mode better, less complicated. |
