What is the best way to raise vitality? I have been hitting the hotdog shop and buying (the option on the bottom forgot what it was called). You get 50vit points for about 4 bucks.

There is also the "food" option which is a resturant. I have bought the pizza and pasta but only received 40points for $14. Haven't tried the rest of the menu.

Just wondering if there was something else that may work better then the hotdog shop.

I think one of the options at the hot dog place gives you 70 points for 4 dollars. (maybe the second one)

after the other hot dog place comes into play, a few weeks later they make a new hot dog that gives 80 for 5$, sometimes he gives you extra that gives 90

I usually go for food at the restaurant. At least it's reliable. Hotdog has the free food option the first time you go but afterwards it's a choice and sometimes doesn't show up.

Don't even bother with powerin anymore, not worth it. There is the other powerin at the bottom for $80 that increases injuries and vitality for the same price, for me it's added a lot more vitality-- more so than powerin dx.

No point for Powerin this year. Way too expensive making it harder to by equipment.

Has anyone figured out how to make more $ from working. They don't seem to pay much so I rarely ever do it now.

I didn't even work once during my first time through, I don't see a point, I would only spend $20 on food to replenish my vitality and then I would get a $100 check so I haven't worked yet. If I want to buy equipment I'll probably have to, but other than that I don't see a point in working.

It's easy to get through the game without working thanks to getting paid monthly but getting equipment to boost borderline stats helps a lot.

Yeah, I spent all of my time either practicing or eating, I actually did sometime buy a fielders glove that boosts my fielding by 2 because I didn't upgrade it at all, but that was when I had $1,400+.

The only items I bought were psychic goggles, for the championship game and on fire arch (fave from 07). It was enough to just get my guy 181 PWR.

I was thinking about getting psychic goggles, but then I saw the price and I only had $300 left so I passed on them. My player looks to be suited better for DH because of his 192 power and horrible fielding, but he won't have that opprotunity since his favorite team is the cubs.

the goggles aren't essential if your eval rating is high enough. It sucks that everything is so expensive this year and the jobs don't pay much. So far, that money issue is my only complaint about this year's mode.

I actually don't mind the higher prices, it makes it harder but we still get that $100 check every month so while I agree that some stuff if too high, I'm fine with it.
