Hi, just thought I could help some of you that are having trouble with the galaxy sharks game.
Here are some tips:
1. Have psychic goggles (it's useful for other ballgames too)
2. You don't always have to swing for the fences, although it's wise to try with Terry and your character, if he's a batter. It's usually quite easy to hit singles with the others and even Joey.
try to swing only at pitches that are around chest high and over the plate, of course, you have to swing at any strike with 2 strikes.
3.Work the count early in the game with Sittch. Take pitches until you have two strikes and then foul of bad strike 'til you get a "cookie" (I find it easy to foul of bad strikes with batters that have low contact, even by accident!)
4. Try to sit fastball, changeup, or slider. these pitches are easy because they on move only vertically or horizontally, unlike a curveball which I think is slightly harder to hit,(slurve in Sittches case) again, you can't be picky with 2 strikes.
5.Don't let Sittch beat you.(he is the only galaxy shark with good power) Painting the corners,(this applies to all of the galaxy sharks) and wildly moving the pitching cursor right before placing and releasing the pitch can also help. If you feel uncomfortable pitching to Sittch, you can always walk him.
6. Try to have a pitcher with at least 2 level 3 pitches, otherwise the batters can adjust more easily if they are sitting of some thing else. (I'm almost certain the golden apples don't have a single pitcher with even 1 level 3 pitch! much less 2 level 3 pitches.) Changeup and curveball, and their variations, are two good pitches to have,(kinda like Johan Santana) since they drop out of the zone. A slider is not the best pitch to have because batters can easily foul it off or put it in play.(another chance for Joey to screw it up)
Using these tips I have beat the galaxy sharks with scores like 10-0 and 13-0.(could have scored more but I got impatient)
