Recently, I've been trying to create some players for my new log, but sometimes it's just too frustrating trying to get them to be good enough for the team, especially when I start out with really bad stats? Any tips? |

The more times you play the better you get. That's my input. |

i concur, it wasnt until i had made about 10 players, then read all i could here, then made about 20 more, then read more, then when i hit maybe the 40 player threshold i can say that i have a solid system in place to make good players, and if i want to make total studs i will save and exit frequently to get the desired results. i will say that completing the story arcs of frank, sittch, and steakbitch are part of my routine. |

dustyyokel wrote: steakbitch are part of my routine. Was THAT necessary? I only do the Siitch arc until I get the glove, unless I need technique points, or I want an ORIG pitch. Working for Jaw gets you lots of $$, which is helpful for glove waxes, which raise top speed for pitchers. I also use money to buy gloves and spikes to raise my character's speed and fielding ratings, along with glove and spike waxes for fielders. Steakhouse helps a LOT with power though. |

You're being like Andy from last season's finale of the Office. He won so maybe you will. But since I'm the only one (kind of) supporting you I'm gonna need some recognition. ![]() |

Just find a set system you can use every time to get roughly the same results. Perfect it, and figure out what things can be changed to allow for different stats, etc. It also depends on how long you want to spend on each run through. For me, I still want my players to be good, but at the same time, I don't want to spend forever on one player, so I s/l before a practice with an injury rate from 20-30% risk. Above that I do something else, below I practice without saving. If you want to go into extreme detail on my strategy for any situation, I can. Just let me know. |

If you s/l to make sure your scout rating goes up by 7-10 for all the games, you should only occasionally have to practice. The arcs themselves will give you plenty of points and abilities (steak arc in particular will boost power/stamina greatly). |
