ok, i am so excited cuz i just got Sparkplug ability from Marvin for the first time!!

i went against my normal style and actually read what marvin was saying during our first run through the cave, and he says some thing like..."drag your left hand along the wall"... so i held my analog stick (the left one) to the left the whole way through, and did it again the second time, and again the third time and actually GOT SPARKPLUG!! not sure if it works every time, havent made another player yet but i think i am onto something.

That's pretty interesting. I've never even thought of trying that before, but if it works that would be a great find. The Marvin cave arc doesn't really seem to have much of a purpose, so if it's the way to get Sparkplug that would make sense.

Wow. If you actually found a new ability that would be crazy. I may have to try it. Tell us how it goes for you!!

It was discovered at the latest almost three years ago. September 14th 2008.

At any rate, an new way to get an ability from this game is a nifty thing to have.

Ah, ok. It's been too long. I'm suffering from post-beginningofschoolpowerprosdeprivation syndrome.

i made no claims to have discovered this ability, i was simply excited to have finally gotten it from my old buddy marvin. i have made several other players since then and have not gotten it, so i cant say i have a foolproof way of getting it. what i didnt mention was that the dude i made (Crizz Boomer) came with almost all E's And Good Sense, and wound up as the first genius hitter I have made, too bad i made him a first baseman, he's way too good.
