So touchy. I did everything exactly right but she won't give up the goods. Is there a specific trigger that prevents her from giving Intimidator and the other stuff? Example: When you visit the female Doctor in the Park (Eris Apple dialogue) and Patty sees you? Or, failing to catch any fish and receiving Error Prone after two trips to the Mountain? Or, winning all of the Year 1 games, and thus attracting the attention of Lucy? Eating a steak with Lucy (don't say anything about Marvin RE)? Finishing her arc too fast? Getting up Base Running 2 after walking in the Park twice? Not starting Siitch's arc?

I have the game saved at the point where she leaves. When I go back to Duck's, Ben says hi and lets me eat for free. When I return to Duck's again, Patty is at the park and says she came back. When I return to Duck's again and take her to the Lookout, nothing happens. She just says thanks and that's that. After having no problems with Patty in the past, this is attempt #2 with the same guy and I'm worried I will be attempting #3 this evening.

Oh, my god Patty is a word I can't say! Just look what happened to Andres Blanco! I think it's because I didn't get that gift from Ben by Christmas. Ugh... I didn't even want intimidator! I just wanted Patient Hitter!

I've never had any problems with Patty, but Lucy definitely hates pitchers.
I've finished Lucy's arc without really even trying with 1 hitter and got the abilities, I've tried over 10 times not doing anything but dating with pitchers and never got anything.

Ok two things I have noticed from dating Patty that prevent intimidator. You do though get the falcon spikes. After Siitch says he is a spy if you don't go back to work at Ducks you won't get it. If the doctor does see you then intimidator won't happen as well avoid seeing the doctor at all costs prior to intimidator.

Um, rob, Sittch says he is a spy MANY times. Do you mean you need to go to the Ducks right after he introduces himself, after he appears in the Black Dog event, or something else?

P.S. Do you need to work at the Ducks when you first meet Patty? Because I've grown quite fond of having her completely fill up my vitality.

It is at week 1 of October 1st year, when he tells you in the locker room he is a spy...

Here is what I do as far as Patty's Arc

From the onset of the 1st year

Go to ducks introduce self etc
second time go to ducks Patty asks you to help
Third time they ask you to help for a year

(note this is off the top of my head so the first 3 visits I've outlined may be inaccurate)

Fourth Talk to Patty
Fifth Ask Patty on a date she refuses
Sixth Ask patty on another date you go to mountains(automatically) and you answer yes it is (I think the question is surrounding whether it's the first date)
Seventh Choose location-Lookout
Eighth choose location Park-go for a walk
Ninth choose location Lookout
Tenth choose location lake
eleventh choose location lookout
12. choose market -go to movies
13. go to lookout- should get fireworks (choose you're prettier)
14. Work at ducks
15. Eat at ducks

note 14 and 15 I do before August

16. Around September week 1 if street appears you may see ducks guy there. He asks you to spy on black dog you say yes
17. Siitch at october week 1 tells you forcefully that he's a spy
18. Work at ducks (better straight after this)
19. At November week 1 to week 3 Marvin gives you a black dog hot dog
20. After the scout tryout I sometimes will buy the romance necklace in case the guy from ducks doesn't come to visit you.
21. Around December week 2 or 3 he visits and could give you gd delivery or gd pinch hitter and romance necklace
22. December week 4 Patty visits takes you out gives you a surprise bag and secrets of batting/pitching after you give her the necklace (note gifts vary depending on what you give patty I think expensive bag yields gamblers ring???
23. After meeting your dad Jan Week 1 go to ducks the ducks dude returns after going to bank
24. Date patty go to mountain (answers are I'll try harder and economics)
25. Date patty again but go elsewhere (e.g. park)-she rambles on about something
26. Date patty ducks dude collapses
27. Go to ducks I think you help out
28. You go shopping for patty
29. Patty takes you for a walk after next visit you commit to help her at the shop
30. Patty leaves for studying
31. If you keep going to ducks directly after this eventually your guy will daydream about Patty saying for her to come back
32. She comes back. Visit ducks when you are choosing location lookout and she coughs up Intimidator and falcon shoes

Agh I knew it! It's when you see the female doctor in the park, right? Can I still visit the hospital for an injury or should I avoid her under all circumstances?

Some injuries like a slight bruise can be healed by just practising. However I just avoid injuries all together if at all possible. Problematically, I've had the doctor visit late in 1st year regarding the talking to a prophet talk. Just better to reload. Avoid the doctor at all costs.

I always made it a habit of getting Insomnia from Frank's broast ball and letting the doctor fix me so I could trigger the Doc thief RE. Insomnia is easy to cure without the Doc, though.

I'm not mad at Patty anymore . . . avoided the doctor, received Intimidator and all the other goodies.

Is there anything you have to avoid that isn't acknowledged anywhere for Lucy?

I've never had an issue with Lucy, although I would avoid the female doctor as well just to be safe. She does the same thing as Patty when you see the doc in the park - Lucy pops in for a sec and looks pissed. Whenever I plan on dating Lucy, I make to sure to win all the Year 1 games, don't fess up too soon, spend most of my dates at the Park, and always give her the Fancy Handbag at Christmas.

When is a good time to fess up to Lucy?

Just as long as she shares her affection for you the first time you fess up, it's all good. If you fess up and she runs away, and then you come back the next day/week and fess up again, and she accepts, you still might be setting yourself up for trouble down the road. I can't confirm this, but I avoid it just the same.
