Okay, so I decided to make a SP in Success Mode (S/Ling of course).

I have my sights set on a maxed ORIG SIFB, but I have one question:
How should I upgrade it? I'm thinking either more change or more edge, but I'm not sure which would work better (again, it'll be lvl. 7 by the end).

If you're going to have slower pitches to back it up (e. g. CHG, SCB, etc.) then I would choose edge. If not, change would add variety to the repertoire.

Giving it change essentially just makes it a change-up that breaks sideways. Useful, but not really new or anything. I'd give it edge, just to see what it's like. And also, what Benny said.

If it helps, the finished product will have a maxed SCB (which I just got, Aug. Week 2 in Year 1) and a maxed SPLT.

I've gotten edge from PPJ when I asked him too, so I think that's probably what I should go for. Thanks!

Can't wait—that'll be one awesome pitcher :) Glad I could help.

Yep, decided on more edge.
As of Oct. Week 2, Year 1:
Top Spd: 87
CTRL: C 136
STAM: C 105
ORIG: 5
SPLT: 2
SCB: 7
Vs. LH Batter 4
Gd Low Pitch
Str Finisher

Got Gd Sense to start, too, so that explains the fast growth. That and lots of S/Ling with the Gambler's Ring.

Well, this is where the bad news comes.

I'm leaving for golf camp tomorrow morning, and won't be back until Thursday night. This obviously means that I won't be able to work on this ace until then, and won't finish it all up until Friday, or even later since I think the next Saturday begins our two-day trek across the country (though I might be able to play Wii in the backseat of our car. :D)
