Post subject: | Sittch's Quick Change |
I was playing around in Success Mode making players for the SimYard baseball team, and I decided to put down some of the lists I compiled about Sittch's quick change mini-game at the Lake. I only have 1 incomplete list so far, and if you want to submit your own, go right ahead. I'm hoping for this to be a guide to get the max experience possible from this mini-game. LIST 1: Center Center Center Center Left Left Left Center Left <Not found> |

What's your aim behind this, to discover some kind of pattern to be able to get all the guesses all the time? I'm pretty sure there isn't one, I once reloaded 50 times on that event and found no distinguishable pattern (writing down results every time). |

Even though I didn't play success mode in a long time, I remembered that Sittch isn't completely random. The patterns will always be the same. Like the 1st time you ever did Sittch, S/L doesn't count, the pattern will always be the same. After your done, if you quit, and then start again, there will be a different pattern. DNK, I'm sorry but this will not work. The other way is to record a video and play it frame by frame which would be hard but its tiring. |

I'm pretty sure there is no pattern, but it seems sittch shows up in the middle or right alot when I do it... |

Here's a little trick I use: The real sittch is always in front of the fake ones. If you ever lose track of him, try to figure out which one is in front of the other 2. Also, the clones that stop on the right and in the center overlap each other. I think it's the right one that's always in front of the center one. If the real Sittch is on the right when he stops, nothing will happen, but if he's in the middle or the left, the middle one will quickly go behind the right one. You can use this to see if Sittch is on the right, or else you have a 50% chance between left and middle. |

If you guys are really hard core, you can always take video and watch it frame by frame. Decent Camera, 10 MP, 480i, with probably Cyberlink PowerDirector, Apple Final Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro. View it slow mow frame by frame. It will be easy to follow the real one, or the one in front, but ultimately it depends on the type of player you want to make. You should do this if you want to max out a player. |

Honestly, I use 'dead-eye' technique, where you focus on a stationary point - like the bottom of your TV - and just pay attention to the movement. The trick is to never move your eyes. Perhipheral vision can track movement fine. Just eveballing it like that I can get it right 100% of the time, all the way up until the fastest move. I quit before the last round (although M+L's video technique has me thinking I might try it, with the laptop recording video on the last round...since you have unlimited time to answer). |

If you do the quick change as a pitcher you don't get any abilities, has anyone ever got any abilities as a pitcher doing this? |
