I beat Sittch!   My first 2 guys (Myself and an outfielder named Kaz Murata) both lost to the sharks in the first game. My 3rd (A pitcher named Alex Rivers) lost to Sittch by 1 run. Now, my 4th player, C/3B Jordan Thorner has FINALLY DEFEATED SITTCH!!!! Not only that, he's one of the best players I've made. If there was a smiley limit that post wouldn't have gone through. Also, Sittch is really easy to beat, especially if you try to lose. Congratulations anyway. |

I don't see how trying to lose would work. If I tried to lose, I would throw all fastballs down the middle and bunt in every at-bat. I don't see how I could win like that. |

I'm serious, I'm 2-0 in attempts to lose quickly. Here's what I do: 1. Throw every pitch down the middle, don't switch pitchers or use breaking pitches. 2. Swing at everything, use power swings with Terry (I thought it would lead to quicker outs by contact, but they actually hit! Last time I won with a walkoff double by Terry after going behind by three in the ninth. 3. There is no 3, it's that simple, I haven't lost yet doing this. |

I just won the game against Sittch, the score was 5-6 and I won by a walk-off sac fly |

When I was making my last player, I tried this strategy. The Sharks scored 4 runs in the 1st, so I reset the game and THEN the startegy worked. Weird. It can be a bit inconsistent. |

Paint the bottom corners with the opposite pitch of what the hitter is guessing and mix in a few high change-ups and I guarantee your batch of generic pitchers will flirt with a perfect game. And if you are using a created pitcher, fuhgetaboutit. |

Who's to say you wouldn't have went on to win the game? A few batters sometimes are smart enough to hit a pitch down the middle, but they usually completely suck at it. I usually score at least 4 runs. Unfortunately, for some bizarre reason, my last character was given Power Hitter after this game, he only hit 1 home run through all of success mode, and it wasn't in that game. But that last part has nothing to do with the strategy really. |

I basically forfeit all my games against Sittch. I give up 10 runs in the top of the first, then bunt to get out three times in a row. This is because I really don't even need to play that last game for any of my players because they're almost always done before the last game against Gil. I always hope to lost to Gil. Although one of these days I actually want to try and win, I just suck at hitting so much that it's not really worth the try. |
