Does anyone know what the approximate conversion is for Stamina = Innings Pitched and/or Pitches Thrown? I'm trying to set the stamina ratings for the missing pitchers project. For example, a pitcher with a stamina rating of 180 can throw 9 IP if he is very efficient. I also know a typical Stamina rating for a RP who can throw 1 or 2 IP before fatigue sets in is about 50-60. But what about a guy who can only throw 5 IP? Or 7 IP?

A rough guess:

IP Min-Max
9.0 185-255
8.0 166-184
7.0 148-165
6.0 129-147
5.0 110-128
4.0 91-109
3.0 73-90
2.0 54-62
1.0 35-53

Thoughts?

I kinda disagree. Stamina gives you the number of pitches you can throw while condition gives you a boost and how well you are doing gives you another boost.

Plus, i think breaking pitches take up more stamina than fastballs.

I know. Control has as much to do with IP as Stamina since a player with poor control will throw more pitches per inning. I'm just trying to establish a rough benchmark so when I combine a player's Control (BB/9, LD%, BABIP) with his Stamina (IP, Pitches per Inning), his outings are realistic in length.

I know that a guy that throws 4-6 innings will have a stamina rating of 100-110.
Guys who throw 3 innings have a stamina in the D's.

That's exactly the sort of info I am looking for.

Given that about 90% of relievers have 40 stamina, I would guess that 1-2 IP would be around 40. (About 25-30 pitches)

I'm not sure that thisll help but I noticed that a few pitchers throw 100+ pitches when I edited some pitchers staminas to 190-200, mood has a huge factor in pitches thrown too

I think it should be more based on innings when evaluating. I'm not a huge fan of taking a guy out just because he gets too 100 pitches. I think Stamina should be based on innings pitched that year per a start. Relivers should be more based on total innings.

Quick question, maybe I'm late, but is that without attributes? And is this based on an average of say 15 pitches per inning? That is efficiency while 25 is very questionable. Just thought I'd ask, cause if it's based on blank players instead of those with attributes, then it looks good.

That seems pretty accurate.
