I've been making some pitchers recently and am having trouble getting their control up. The technique points aren't the problem it's not having enough mentality points any suggestions?

- Most RE's (Random Events) between weeks provide Mentality Points, so take advantage of those. Same with the various events within arcs for Frank, Sittch and Tom.

- When you get serious about practice, get yourself the Lvl. 2 Concentration Earplugs.

- Get the Pitching Heart Glove, preferrably for free by completing Doc's baseball glove thief arc. To activate the Doc Thief, visit the hospital with an ailment. I prefer to get that out of the way early by picking up Insomnia from Frank's Downtown Broast Ball event. When done right (1 wk) the haul is epic: Pitching Heart Glove (+5 ctrl and +5 stam), Secrets of Pitching book, 1 Glove Wax, a painkiller and a compress. Both the Spin and Battler abilities are available as well. You can get either one, none, or even both.

Early in the game, there really isn't much else you should be spending your MENT points on besides Control and the ocassional breaking ball upgrade. Same with STR points - most of those should be used for Stamina until you can throw a complete game.

alright i'll try that, I usually run out at the end when I have my stamina where I want it and breaking balls maxed out.
